What beer are you drinking now? #3033

I don't believe I like the standard Leffe as much as you @Shanex (too sweet for me), but would like to try the Triple you pulled out this morning.

I continue to plow through the cellar, and came up with a five year old porter this morning found deep in the refrigerator that likely should have been enjoyed within the 6 months or so after purchase but held on well nonetheless.

Have a good Monday. After getting stuffed at Lager Heads Smokehouse last night, me and my gf just passed out immediately in a food coma when we got home around 930PM. I woke up around 330AM when the cats were complaining about food. Bo came in and licked my face about it so I had to get up. The brisket was the best I have ever had for sure. Plenty of fat and tenderness. I decided when she moves in we are getting a smoker and a nice grill to put out on the patio. It's nice to have that now after being in an apartment for 9 years. Day 3 of no water, but my dad brought 10 gallons of tap water for the day for use, and we put a space heater on the water main. Nothing working yet. Julia's cornbread is on the left. I finished off the loaf she brought over. I forgot the butter pat in the microwave and the electron beam opened the butter for me. Loved the sweet cornbread muffin too

Good day BAs! Today it was clear enough to see the summer triangle above the horizon when I went outside to get the paper and dump the vegetable waste - so cold it was difficult to breathe. Today's New Breakfast Beer is another leftover from EBF-C. I like the cyber format better than a face-to-face fest because I have more time and larger sample sizes, not to mention better control over storage conditions.



Decent. 4.07, rDev +4.9%.

Joining @Shanex with a Leffe Blonde. In a way that is. This is just the plain blonde, and not a triple.
Poured careful I believe. But the Stella glass has some kind of engraving at te bottom, like the Duvel glasses. Causes a nice swirl in the glass, but also extra foam in this case .

Well, to be honest, would like to meet up with you in the 2021 edition of the TDF in the Mountain stages enjoying this one.

I know it is a long way from where you are, but going to a TDF is on my bucket list.

Have not had this one, but would like to try it.

Took the day off today, so why not? Off Square Scientific Calculation Bourbon BA Imperial Stout (cacao nibs, maple syrup, espresso). I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this local brewery, but this is actually a pretty solid beer. Loads of chocolate and some hefty barrel character that brings lots of oak and spirit. The espresso is light and the maple even lighter. A touch thin especially for 14%. The chocolate and barrel keep this one interesting.
