Twin Cities Bottle Sightings (2021)

Anyone seen 2021 Bigfoot out yet or know when/if its coming out here? Saw it on their social media about a month ago and have yet to see it.

 

Still looking for 2020

 

I swear I haven’t seen it since it was in a 6-pack.

 

I bought a 6-pack of 2020 recently. I *think* it was at the Woodbury Total. Quick search claims they have "a limited quantity" of some year of Bigfoot.

 

Anyone seen Perennial Sump cans?

 

Not sure how difficult to find anymore, but Heritage Liquor had two bottles of Abraxas, few BCBS, and other stuff I surely forgot.

 

Fair State Petty Cash is one of the best bottles I’ve had in a reallllllly long time. Their description is “mixed fermentation table beer with house-made cocktail bitters”. It’s spectacular. A style that is way too much overlooked that I wish was more common to come by. I believe it’s taproom pick up only

 

Yep, this one is good. The bitters didn't dominate, I was worried that they would. We need more table saisons, even saisons in general. I know it's the middle of winter, but there really aren't many local options out there. They're scarce even from places like Wind Mind (Wild Bones is also dang good, btw). Hopefully we will see some offerings from Wild Mind, Fair State, and maybe even Blackstack this summer.

Any old Founders CBS around? Apparently they don't make it anymore....?

Had my 2019 bottle awhile ago and it was delicious.

 

A bunch of it shelf turding out here in western burbs - which is still so crazy to me. I used to hunt this like a mad man a decade ago

 

I saw it at Falls Liquors in South Minneapolis about 3 days ago.

 

Found 2021 today! Got the last couple 6 packs at eagan TW. Had the guy check other stores, each on only had about a case or less left. Really short supplies this year .

 

So I remember trading away portions of my cellar for waxed stenciled BA Behemoth bottles years ago. I’m sitting on a waxed 2yr BA Behemoth in the cellar. I just picked up 2-4pks of the BA Behemoth today and opened one. This is ridiculously good ... best BA American Barleywine I’ve had in a long time (knocking on Anabasis’ door if not better). Anyways, I’m blown away. Dying to do this side-by-side with the 2yr. I’d load up gang - this is insanity good!! Oh and I only paid $21/4pk. I pay that for IPAs.

 

Hard to believe this just showed up randomly for us old-timers. I'll have to put one down this weekend to figure out if I need more...

 

Let me know when Wooden Hell shows up on local shelves.

It’s better than we remember it. I was worried it was going to go the way of KBS or CBS with half assed barrel and overly distributed when I saw @gatornation post about it, but nope. Madness.
