    The Saaz and Mosaic dry hopped German pilsner being released today is intriguing. If anyone tries it or the BA Vanilla Fudge let us know what you think!

    Definitely picking up DDH Thrillseeker, already got my bottle of BA Vanilla Fudge and threw a fresh sixer of Foam Top on the order for good measure.

    DDH Thrillseeker is fantastic. They also have BA La Cabra (weizenbock) on for crowler fills. Of course I grabbed 32oz of bourbon barrel aged german goodness

    In other malty news, they've tapped Hazelnut Fortress, imperial stout with hazelnuts. Should be tasty

    Grabbed a bottle of 8 Buffalo yesterday. In the past I was never particularly a fan of the beer. I always thought it was alright. This batch, however, is really good. The barrel character comes through but isn't overwhelming. They also used lactose (apparently?) so it has a pretty nice mouthfeel. Definitely recommend grabbing one

    A new Beach Retreat in cans coming 2-17. Version 2 collab with Pizza Port. Brewed in Long Beach. The first version was worth the Covid road trip to San Clemente for cans and pizza. This one is a hop skip and jump away.

    I wonder if this new version 2 from Beachwood is going to get any distro?

    Was pretty nice getting the PPort Beach Retreat version 1 so easily last year with the wide PPort distro.

    No indication right now that it will be any different from the last version in terms of distribution but I'll ask my Stone rep next time I see her and report back.

    Last time around, it didn't have any strict allocation so I assume they had plenty to go around, remains to be seen if that will be the case again.
