I opened my growler Friday night as I was instructed to do.

I'm thought i would drink whatever the beer of the night was, but im thinking this one will take a couple of nights to finish. I put a stopper in it and will finish the rest tomorrow. This is an awesome beer. Thanks rjm217!

Yeah thats understandable. Most of the beers you received are probably best for more than 1 person unless you really like stumbling around.

 

I do like to stumble around. Doesn't everyone. This is one awesome barley wine. Definitely on the sweeter side, but definitely hop forward.

 

I received a growler of Taza Stout - Night Shift Brewing for day one. BTW taste much better now that it's been sitting out for a few hours.

Great beer, was lucky enough to grab a bottle when I was home for Thanksgiving. Should be unwrapping a bottle soon!

For my 2nd bottle from Mista I received: Steel Toe Brewing - Wee Heavy Scotch Ale. I have enjoyed a few beers from them before but not this one. It is in the fridge now and the little lady and I are going to pop this after cleaning up from the gym.

 

This brewery is about 40 minutes from me and is the closest one doing pretty decent beer (won a GABF medal last couple of years). This one was a brewery only - about 1200 bottles and the first time that they bottled it (bottled on 11/20). Hope you enjoy it!

 

Well you better get your ass over then. We're opening a BCBCS soon, well after i finish shoveling.

 

Day two reveals a westy blond! The only one that had eluded me from the lineup-nice start to the bottles, thanks Matt!
