What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3043

Thank goodness we haven't lost water and power comes and goes. Some people have it much worse. Dropped off buckets of water at my parent's and their neighbors yesterday since they are on day 3 of no running water. My parent's neighborhood hasn't lost power once. Sunny and 40's tomorrow, we'll see pipes bursting all across Texas tomorrow when they thaw. Beer helps! Skål!

 

Have a good Wednesday. Another normal 8 hour shift. Had dinner at work as usual, after the Sav A Lot pizza the night before. Flamin Hot Nacho are the best doritos. Also 3 for $5 rockstars.

This band has not gotten my attention for a while, but they will have a new album this year. I listened to all 4 during the night.

 

Another cold day with a dusting of snow last night. Supposed to start warming up over the weekend. No golf until next week. Now that I'm retired and can play whenever I want, I won't play in the cold.
This is helping me stay warm.

Moderate pour yields a one and a half inch light tan head over a dark brown body with some lacing. Nose of cracker, dark malt, and ever so slight chocolate. Taste of dark malt, bitter chocolate, and unsweetened chocolate with a nice bitter finish. Nice feel and overall, a real nice take on a style that I need more of and will be seeking out in earnest in the future.

Haha, just 6 today, 0430-1030. I have 465 vacation hours and will earn 67 more by 06/30/2021. I have to get it down to 386.7 before the end of July or I lose everything above 400 and won't accrue until it's under 400. Cheers!
