Couldn't agree more. Surprised by how they continue to fly under the radar. Sure that is bond to change this year with their barrel program maturing. I was really stoked to get into their Embers Society this year

    ***BOTTLE RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT***

Next Saturday, February 20th, Incendiary Brewing and Casita Brews are co-releasing, THE BLESSED BELOW!

This complex stout was a long thought out venture that started two years ago. We designed a viscous complex imperial stout destined for extended aging in bourbon barrels. After 23 months in both Weller and Buffalo Trace barrels, THE BLESSED BELOW is ready to be released.

This deeply rich imperial stout pours inky black with a thin dark tan head that quickly dissipates. Beyond the intense bourbon and oak character, the base beer displays notes of thick honey, licorice, dark chocolate maraschino cherries, pralines and tobacco. There are no distracting adjuncts, simply an intricate imperial stout entangled with beautiful bourbon barrels, and given proper time to mature.

Casita and Incendiary are splitting the allocations; bottles and draft will be available at both taprooms. Because of the split allocation, there will be no pre-sale for Memberships at either location. Limits are set at 2pp and $20/ea. Doors open at 11 am.

Incendiary flies under the radar due to geography. There just aren't that many active BA posters/reviewers in North Carolina, let alone in the Triad. Most breweries that rise to cult prominence are located in or have distributed to major population centers (OH to NYC, Monkish to LA, TH to Boston etc.) or have a very active BA posting community like Richmond. I know there are exceptions to every rule but that's what I am seeing.

Step one to prominence is to stop referring to Incendiary as Incendiary. It needs an acronym like I-burn or just I. Then, when they release a beer, don't refer to it by name, call it ODD or UA. Post about the beer in different forums but never use the beer or brewery name. Make sure that the acronyms find their way into the codebook - can't remember the url but I have seen it out there somewhere. Rinse and repeat.

To reiterate the point I made above, Incendiary had a release today of The Blessed Below, a collaboration with Casita that sat in Weller and Buffalo Trace barrels for 23 months. Over a hundred people in line on a frosty morning and not a peep about it on this site.

Post #5 in this thread. Counts as a peep atleast, not much else though. Sold out release at Incendiary, did it sell out at Casita? I would imagine so. Early reviews on it are rather good, I'll be looking forward to the pair of bottles I have on the way.

Beer was fantastic on draft. I got there at 10:30 (release at 11) and was about 75th in line. They had 300 bottles total at 2 per and sold out a little after noon or so.
