When I first started trading a few years ago hoof hearted was one of my favorite breweries to get ipas from. I still think they do a triple IPA better than most. I love dragonsaddle, south of eleven , key bump, etc.

I'll be in Columbus for work until Friday arriving later tonight. I'm bummed that I'm going to miss open hours of the brewery because I would like to get some fresh cans. Does anyone know where I can get fresh cans locally?

Also I live in St Louis, and hoof recently started Distributing to us. I found out that the beer outside of Columbus is brewed on contract by a brewery in Connecticut. I've had some of the beers and they just don't seem to live up to the stuff I used to get. Not sure if it's in my head or not but does anyone else feel that the beer brewed in Connecticut is different quality?

You rock man! Key bump extra powder was available in St Louis but again I'm assuming it was brewed at the Connecticut Brewery. I should try to grab a can while in Columbus and compare it when I get home.

No problem! - Honestly I havent really kept up on the Hoof Hearted production to know either way about the distro cans but I know the ones we got in Cincinnati were quite good, especially liked the Pure Snow variant, just straight up hop juice. if you do pick up from there I also recommend Wolfs Ridge brewing which isn't too far from there - they should usually have a nice taplist and hard to find a bad beer from them. Great food there also.
