I think that should be good. It went 1:1 with man 2020. Think the only drawback is bottle count on that DoT

Does Larceny Barrel Proof have any trade value at all, or is it basically as good as Beam? I've seen some interest in ECBP, but I've always assumed Larceny BP was pretty much valueless, but I see people trade some pretty unassuming bourbon too.

Larceny Barrel Proof trade value ranges from 90-120. It's basically Old Fitzgerald somewhere in the 6-9 year range and it's a Barrel Proof Wheated. It comes out 3 times a year. Spring/Summer/Fall. Good stuff! It's also new.

A120 is the first version available to the market. There's currently 4 releases out so far, so it's pretty new to the market.

Huh. I've never really considered it tradeable. Maybe because the only place that gets it is the local supermarket. Any chance it could go 1:1 with something Maltvin or serve as a semi-anchor for something like LPF, DBBCBS, Morning Vibes, or Sulla Terra, or is it way too generic for that? Just wondering if it's worth getting, since bourbon is the new trade currency.

Grocery stores sell the most lower end crud!!! They also have the opportunity to get the most allocated stuff.

Example: For Buffalo Trace crud they have to sell a ton of FireBall and terrible stuff to then get a shot at the higher tier stuff. I know the industry well. I don't like it... The little stores get the smaller allocations on stuff, it's brutal.

    For example:
LBP trade 1:1 for (OWA107 or Blanton's or ECBP)

LBP also only comes in 3 to a case. Some stores only receive 3 total.

    Hope that helps!

Unfortunately this is a right set of eyes situation. It rarely happens that a person trades down for quantity but it does happen. That being said my personal opinion is no on the weller's or willet unless you are going significantly over in quantity at which point you might as well buy the bottle yourself. Can't speak to the JD or smoke wagon.

Here is an easy and fair example:

I traded 2x EC Toasted for 1x Weller 12 year recently to Flat_Lander, with both parties happy.

    Hope this helps!

Does anyone know anything about 43°N, 89°W from Funk Factory? I really can't find a shred of information on this one, and I'm wondering if it's a total ghost whale, or if it's relatively obtainable. Perhaps a question for the regional thread, but figured I'd also check here.

    From untappd:

"Our homage to (rip off) Cantillon 50 Degrees North 4 Degrees East. 2 year old unblended lambic aged in a Brandy barrel. This unique lambic is the fruit of a collaboration between Funk Factory Guezeria, O'so Brewing and Old Sugar Distillery."

Only a couple hundred checkins. Last being over 2 years ago.

Good info from @Stevedore and his review...

375ml bottle. Brewed in 2012, put into brandy barrels 2013, aged for one year, then bottled in 2014. Served in a plastic cup (oye!) for on-premise consumption 5/7/2016.

His is the most recent review, 2016, but not rating, 2018.

Hey Family. Larceny BP + EHT SmB. How close is that to ETL. Too much? Too little? Would need another + ?

not close at all man, sorry. I love Larceny BP, but both that and EHT SmB are relatively available on shelves unlike ETL

Looking for a 2018 BA Abraxas. You guys think a 2021 TWCP Maman will get the job done?

    Still on that RBBT hunt.

Thoughts on 2020 Rrari Crochet (cognac) : Rye BBT?

Also thinking about changing it up with lambic, particularly 50°N-4°E + Zenne Y Frontera b8, b9 +?

I don't want to give up my DM, and probably won't, but what would that ratio look like?

I think if you combined the Rarri + 50N + Zenne b8 + Zenne b9 you would still be short based on the fact you are trading up. I do think DM would go 1:1. Maybe you'll have better luck planning a trip to St.Louis to try it on site with old friends @Sabtos.
