Stopped by there yesterday to pick up some brews ... they were having a soft opening for friends & family. Grand opening is next weekend, including 3 new releases. Looking forward to it!

Ended up grabbing That Track is a Groove and it was great. Almost immediately regretted not stocking up. Looking forward to future releases

Thanks for stopping by! It's difficult to call anything under COVID-reality a "grand opening," but you are correct that we are planning to open for drinking on-premise to the public this coming weekend, along with crowler fills and 3 new releases on Wednesday (a hazy pale ale--may sound underwhelming, but seriously this will be all I'm drinking for the next several weeks; a Saphir dry-hopped lager; and a new West Coast). Really can't wait to get this all behind us and be able to share some proper pints with you all.

I was incorrect about crowlers, we're going to need another week to get those going. But yes to opening on-premise and 3 new can releases this week.

Did anyone have a chance to make it to the Grand Opening?

IMHO Inherent Good Lager smells and tastes extremely weird. It’s not awful, but neither is Subway when you’re in the middle of the country and there is nothing else to eat. Whoa... just went in for another whiff, and it’s actually pretty nasty. The guy at Bradley’s told me he detected dive bar the morning after and an ashtray when he took a sniff. No, I can’t take anymore. This beer is foul right off the bat like when the Astro’s know a fastball is coming.

@RaulMondesi Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy Inherent Good. That dry-hop combo definitely went pretty far into the herbal realm; I'll admit it's too far for my tastes as well, but a lot of folks are really digging it. To each their own. We just put out a new lager, Time is a River, that I think will be more up your alley; super crispy with just a hint of hop.

Thanks for the response. I’ve loved all your other beers so much that I guess my expectations were too unrealistic. Cheers.

Had a Term of Art last night. Not bad. Still chasing the thunder from That Track is a Groove.

Has anyone tried Hope Like Fire? Received from a bud yesterday. Trying one of 3 cans now. I didn’t care for the color as it poured a dank or darkish orange/brown. First thought was old, already? I think canned on or around 2-20-21. Definitely on the murky side. First taste reminded me a bit like Juicy Bits. This after Pandemic Blues. Of the 3 hazy’s I’ve had from Radiant this is my favorite. Still liking their west coast over the haze.

@dcgunman Yeah, the appearance on HLF is pretty trippy. We used Pale Ale malt as the base (rather than just straight up 2-row) and it contributed to the color far more than expected; the wort at knock-out was noticeably darker and that carried through to finished beer. It was canned 2/19, and DO levels were good, so I assure you the color is not related to oxidation (and sounds like you enjoyed it). Funny you should mention Juicy Bits, though, based on where Andrew was today...

Snagged a Hope Like Fire from Mr K's on Thursday that I cracked last night. What a tasty hazy single IPA. Loved the mouthfeel of it and the flavor was great. I got the WCIPA too who's name escapes me and that was solid as well. Definitely want to go spend some time there once I get the 'rona shot.

I made the drive to Radiant yesterday after picking up some supplies at Mr K’s. Good excuse since it was close by. The outdoors is layed out pretty nice. Plenty of outdoor seating. Indoors looks nice once they open for seating. I’ve already had all their ipa can offerings except for one or two. Another good excuse to check them out. So I had Time is a River, See Us Waving and a brand new draft release I cannot remember the name. It was hazy. Both hazy’s was just okay to me. I decided not to take home SUW cans but instead the Hope Like Fire cans. Which is my favorite hazy from these guys. I still prefer their west coast over the haze. Didn’t bother with their pastry stouts as I’m not into the pasty thing. Food truck was Hammer Burger. What a joke. Sorry. But the smash burger wasn’t even 1/8” thick. If I had known it was a flat burger I would of got the double flat burger. Fries were better. Cheeky burgers are some of the best. May have to do a BreweryX, Radiant and LeisureWorld run when it’s safer.

Did they require food purchase? Supposedly that is no longer a requirement for breweries.
