Revolution Brewing (2021)

Maison Rouge I see quite often and it's really cheap for a VSOP. If it's good, I may pick up a bottle tonight.

 

Any updates on the brew pub? When announcing the closing last fall the Rev Twitter account targeted reopening in March 2021.

 

I'm considering it too. I don't drink that much hard liquor, but I think I may switch up from my usual Scotch and get a bottle of Cognac for my next purchase.

Mineshaft Gap is one of my all time favorite beer names, BTW. That just makes it even better. I cringe when people call it Mindshaft Gap, because they obviously don't get the reference.

The last thing I saw them post on this was on 1/26:
"The City of Chicago has reopened dining on a limited basis, which leaves us encouraged for our neighborhood restaurants and bars doing their best to continue during a tough time. Revolution is not opening up either the Pub or Taproom for indoor service at this time and will continue curbside service at our Kedzie Ave. brewery. That day will come and it will be glorious. Until then, support your neighborhood places and we'll look forward to serving you that first beer and burger when we reopen."

 

It’s a perfect beer or at least was when released. Who knows how balance gets adjusted as things age. Do yourself a favor and just grab the curbside sixtel

Yes, that's exactly right. If you haven't seen Dr. Strangelove, you really, really should. One of the great movies of all time, in my opinion.
