2017 was my first RS year and I've not received one in that time. So must have been 16 or earlier.

The champagne-style bottle stoppers were in 2017, but Hoarders-only. There was a pair of them.

I am late to the party, but finally cracked my 2020 Chocolate Reign. Hoo boy, this is drinking nice.

I was a bit let down by 2019 Reign (just didn't seem that different from standard Rain), but the 2020 is a clear step up for me.

    Just an FYI....

I recommend drinking your Elvis Mash' sooner than later. I just revisited one tonight and it seems to have changed quite a bit (not for the better). Banana has fallen way off, carb pretty much gone after the pour (drinking flat) and a bit of a musty smell when cracking the bottle........

Sheesh. They were great. I was really impressed with Seahorse & Gray Monday.
    Definitely hid the 21+%

Opened a Mash and PB & J, instant drain pour. Really unpleasant tangy notes, maybe infected or just turned really bad.

Countered it with 2020 CR, drinking amazing. This is the first vintage I've enjoyed drinking somewhat fresh.

So I cracked my mash pb and j and Elvis mash tonight, both were very average, I didnt drain pour mine(mash pb&j) split the bottle, but I feel the lack of abv is what hurt these beers, the boysenberry juice stuck out to me as well as the banana in the Elvis, which I admit I didn’t finish my half bottle of, but the Crowler of CranCherry Pie made up for both the Barleywines, maybe different taste buds

Ah thanks for the Info. Before my time and I'm a lowly RSM. Well that would be going on 5 years and if RS hasn't had them as included merch, It may be an option in the future. Missed out on the shark bottle opener as well which, by the replies here, was a hit.

Speaking of the included merch. I used this past year's tote, with ice pack, to keep some beer cold on a two hour drive and it did its job wonderfully.

Highly recommend if you don’t have one. Still have my original Bruery one and it’s working great. I thought it cost more but at 25 think it’s definitely worth it.

Mashed up nuts was another beer from the Hoarders "best of" box that reminded me of other great Bruery beers. It was like Wee Heavy Coconuts and Mash & FT had a baby. I like this style.

If I remember correctly the Bruery whaleshark is made from old Black Tuesday barrels. That thing rips through wax like butter!

Last of my 2020 cellar was delivered today. I'd say a branded box cutter would be very functional merch for next year:wink:

At the risk of getting myself 86’ed, I went to Terreux today, and it just wasn’t the same... even by COVID standards.

And while the staff at the Fulfillment Center were nice, there were at least three things wrong with my pickup... total first world problems, but one of them was accidentally mixing up the Chocolate Rain I was picking up with bottles of Chocolate Reign (total virtue signaling here, but I couldn’t do that to them... I let them know and had Rain swapped)... this, combined with the issues I had with incorrect shipments (with no reply from the Fulfillment center... it wasn’t until Steve and Daniel saw my post on here that it was fixed) kinda worries me. Plus, the hours of operation we’re different on three different platforms (IG Profile, newest IG post, which said they were open to midnight, and website which said they were open til 8)... It’s all fixable stuff, but as a long time Bruery loyalist, the mixups and confusion seem to be the sign of a systemic problem.

The beers are still fire, but, to be honest, it was the customer service that made me as fiercely loyal as I am, and while everyone has been friendly, I worry they might be letting the customer service side of things slip.

Not meant to be a trashing of them, but please keep an eye on this Bruery staff. You folks are awesome, but unless you’re Russian River, you can’t hide less than stellar customer service with good beer (and even they’re on thin ice after the bungled Younger release).

Hmm... trying to "complete" my days of the week collection. Haven't seen Mocha Wednesday in awhile... maybe that's the one you should bring back?

Speaking of that, I'm guess there have already been theories on what Saturday will be on this forum? Is there a leading hypothesis? The Hoarders Fluffernutter BT this year?

When I read this, I laughed to myself, having had one 2 months ago and enjoyed it. I opened up another today, and while not a drain pour to me, the peanut flour and boysenberry have combined to a bit of a soy-saucy mixture. I would recommend it as a drink ASAP.
