I am not at all familiar with that neck of the woods. I know there are some places putting out beer in that area, but that is not a heavy craft beer area. I would certainly stock up with your are to some extent & maybe look at targets of chance in Missouri. I would presume some Ozark & Lost Forty are available

Harrison & Branson might be worth side trips if feasible

Apple Blossom Brewing ( Brew Pub ) in Fayetteville is back in operation with new owners & a new brewer. I think it is Dinner only for the first few weeks.

I just presumed that place was doing well enough off of the food side that they were going to be okay no matter what their beer was like ( quality wasn't bad, but they never really improved or took it next level to me for sure ).

I don’t know what the liquor store distribution looks like around there, but I would imagine it’s extremely sparse. Gravity Brew Works is pretty close to there, and I’ve heard some good things.

If you go to Hot Springs, you’ll have to drive right next to Little Rock to get there unless you’re taking the 4 hour backroad scenic route. You could easily hit a shop on the west side of town like Legacy Wine and Spirits. If you didn’t want to detour, you will find pretty good distribution in Benton as you head east on I30 out of Little Rock.

Hope you have a good time.

They did have an undemanding low abv wheat beer called Fayetteweisse. It wouldn't wow the hopheads and the ibu fanatics but it would impress the true connoisseurs like ourselves who appreciate balance and subtlety. It was a light refreshing treat.

Stopped in Apple Blossom Brewing for a meal & some beers yesterday. They only had about 5 of their beers on tap. Of the 3 I tried, from best to worst: IPA, Juicy PA & Porter. The IPA is the only one I would order again. Food was alright, very similar to what they were dong. They had about 6 Arkansas beers on offer as well. Plus 4 taps of macroswill, plus Guinness. It doesn't seem like their is the star, I think they are going more for a neighborhood eatery/bar feel. This has inspired me to revisit some Fayetteville places again soon. But it may be a while before I am back to Apple Blossom.

I'm extremely impressed. They maybe the next NW Arkansas brewery to come into it's own.

I feel we are extremely blessed in our corner of Arkansas and the Ozarks.

Just heard a depressing little ditty from a reliable source, they expect us to triple in population in 10 years ( plan on still being alive ) as a region, I do not approve

That is incedible, that has to mean growth on a scale rarely seen, if ever, in the US.

I tried the Gotahold Crooked & Steep BA Imperial Stout, it was good, but not near as good as the Barleywine

I doubt it's going to triple... #22 fastest growing metro area in the US according to the Internet.

    Fayetteville, Arkansas

    Best Places 2020-2021 Rank: 8
    Metro Population: 526,412
    Median Home Price: $192,708
    Average Annual Salary: $46,470
    Net Migration, 2014 to 2018: 5.78%

Northwest Arkansas' largest metro area continues to grow rapidly -- by 5.78% from 2014 to 2018 due to net migration. Fayetteville's growth has slowed a bit, as its population grew by 6.94% between 2013 and 2017 due to net migration, but it's still drawing plenty of new residents with its low cost of living and consistent job opportunities.

I think a lot of this is based on local dismay. This was all pretty much backwoods until Walmart & a nearby interstate. Still the amount of Bloody Texas tags I see...

Distressed to see these regional forum lumped in a bigger regional group. Our stuff is going to stay buried if we don't at least check in every once in a while
