Big nugget certainly looks like something I need

I haven't had it but I wouldn't put their 12oz blended bottles in the "pastry" category. Their other bottles on the other hand, 100% pastry

Personally I'd scrap the Tree of Life and add Nomad (dark lager). I love BA barleywines (and Tree House has made at least 1 great one!) but I thought Tree b2 was probably the worst beer I've had from them in the past year. Ymmv, and it's totally possible I had it a night I just wasn't in the mood for it, but I didn't like it. Your IPA choices are good (JJJ is the best they make outright, imo). The stouts are pretty much all pastry, though if coffee and sweet is in your wheelhouse Single Shot is very good.

Well- I like all your choices (haven't had warmth though)- please report back to the thread when you try the beer!

Can't speak for the other beers, but my subjective taste thinks Bigfoot is best at 3-4 years.

Really the issue is with the use of the term “improvement.” With exception of the really big DFH beers, most just change. I crave fresh Bigfoot, but at 7 years it’s also incredible. Same goes for many quads - great fresh, great with 2-4 years on them. Not necessarily “improved” but great and different. There are definitely some that seem like candidates and get worse (Merry Monks comes to mind) but for a lot, it’s just a different experience

Went up today, no wait, JJJ is awesome. Thought the MoC was a bit watery. Noticed there is now a “spiritual advisor” across the street from TH going east + the pot shop further down the road is now recreational. I suppose all of this development is the most interesting thing to have happened to rt 20 since the dawn of the horseless carriage

Dear guru spiritual advisor... Please release me from the sway of NEIPAS and the way of the jackfruit. Please send me down the path of enlightenment. spiritual advisor, "dude the bud shop is down the street"

The left hand turn upon exiting is sort of 21st century as well.

MoC is mid 7% so it won't be as hefty as Impermanence or the other imperials they have. It does have some variance, though

I haven't been up since June and probably won't be up again until June. I'm hopeful that the taproom will be back open in the Fall

So what is everyone's thoughts on what they are building to the right once you pull off Rt 20 into their entrance, saw large steel roof supports in lot on other side. Maybe instead of the van to get to brewery from lower lot this is coming, lol

Wondering if they’ll release anything tomorrow. Thinking I’ll take a trip.

Vanilla bean tree of truth sold out in about 10 minutes, it’s too bad they lost so many bottles.

If you only have 124 bottles left...why not save them for eventual onsite?

Agree. Why even mention the amount? Mention what happened and this is the resulting beer. Throwing in that low bottle count drives the fervor. Post it up and let it sell out and no one would be any wiser to it.
