Saving them for Anniversary party would have been a hero move. That said I don't really have a problem with them posting the bottle count this morning - if it were a must have for me I'd be a lot more pissed if I saw it and then it surprise was gone in the blink of an eye. I'd rather know I needed to order right away and go today, especially when every other special release has lasted weeks.

Somewhat surprised that people are offended by Th releasing a batch, when it supposed to be released, for the original price.

I’m not offended, I saw it come across Twitter and thought it was interesting. To me, it shows no one is beyond driving hype or the fomo of a beer release.

I get it. I guess it just doesn’t bother me. If they jacked up the price, I might feel otherwise

1,000 bottles damaged. Wonder if a fork lift operator fucked up big time. If so, hope the surveillance tape makes it online somehow. Those videos are always entertaining

Or...they were being honest about why such a low bottle count.

But no one would know the bottle count if they didn't mention it. Could have simply mentioned the issue as they did and left it as a "low bottle count." Either way, low or specific number, it created a rush given that it sold out in minutes. I appreciate the transparency, but by also mentioning that low number, it gets the beer nerds frenzied. My observation.

Would have likely sold out today with such a low number of bottles. That is inconsistent with the batches of BA stuff lately. Questions would have been asked about why the quick sell out. Better to just front about it IMO.

I hear you. Well I'm glad they were upfront about it and didn't front.

    Mention the quantity, people complain.

Don't mention the quantity, people complain.

I'm not complaining since I wouldn't have attempted to buy it either way. If no quantity was mentioned I likely wouldn't have read the tweet any further. By mentioning the specific low bottle count, I found that interesting. That's all.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And Sap! They never seem to make Sap any more. It's sad.

But while waiting on Very Hazy, Haze in 12 oz. cans is clutch. I hope they expand the 12 oz. package offerings for DIPAs.

Sssappp and Aaalter Ego (the former specifically, which I don't think even got its yearly Xmas appearance) have been notable absences for sure. As glad as I am that Jjj has become a regular in recent times, those two are right up there.

It’s been welcoming to see them keep their core + beers rolling. As a local, it’s hard to travel anywhere else for brews lately.

If only we could buy cases of kj and vg

No plans to drink Brownie or Vanilla Bean anytime soon. They look nice, sitting side by side. Hate away.
