At first I wasn't sure if it was a deliberate distinction or if it was, perhaps, a misspelling or an error of vocabulary
(Hey, no disrespect to @JayORear, but I work with the general public. Some days-and today was one of them-the bar just cannot be sufficiently lowered to permit the passage of some of the folks you encounter, and let's not even get into the shit show that is the wider world of social media).

Since I'm in Kiribati, I get to guess when my day starts, right?

DING, DING, DING!!! All correct, including the bonus question!

Wow, that was impressive. Or did I somehow not make it hard enough?

Anyhow, congrats! What led you to guess (correctly) Wild Turkey? Did Kansas somehow figure into your thinking?

Shoot me your address, and I'll get the six-pack + Chambord out by the end of the week.

I wonder why they bought him Chambord?? It seems so random!

It's classy! They probably bought a couple cases a year to hand to clients/vendors etc.

Whoa! Iced Tea, at least to me, seemed more southern to me than Kansas would suggest, and Chambord wasn't even on my radar (I think I've tasted it once). I was probably gonna guess Triple Sec tomorrow. I feel good about just guessing the Hamm's. Great LIF!

Congrats, @Mbgreg! How did you come to guess Chambord?

    Cool!!

Wild Turkey was really just a guess... I knew by elimination it wasn’t Jack, Beam or a Scotch, so Turkey just seemed like the next most popular one in that orbit (at least in these parts ).

Totally agree Chambord seems kinda random and obscure, but no reaction on the other guesses and it IS a liqueur with the right letters, so what the heck.

But - that works out great cause I (and more importantly the wife) love the stuff!

Thanks for that awesome LIF, very clever! I’ve been pondering a good one to launch, but the damn bar keeps getting higher! Back to the drawing board -

I got side tracked thinking that the "specific brand name" clue was in reference to Johnnie Walker, when really it was the "framboise" liqueur. Nice work putting it all together! Excellent LIF, @JayORear !

Digging into some of the cans from @Roy_Hobbs tonight (thank you again!), enjoying my first Fox Farms beers, and I'm impressed so far. I started the evening with Quiet Life - nice example of a Czech pils - and moved on to Pe'a based on the advice to drink it ASAP.

Lovely hop profile that leans into the citrus end of things with resinous pine sap playing a supporting role, complemented by yeast-derived melon and stonefruit notes. The esters almost tread into the realm of rotting and overwrought, which can ruin hazy IPAs for me, but thankfully stay on the right side of the line and are enjoyable rather than deleterious. The body hits the mark of being soft, juicy, and faintly sweet, with a restrained bitterness providing just enough balance to keep it on track.

Monday nights are usually not exceedingly notable, but as I'm enjoying my second delicious beer of the evening, watched the Sharks play easily their best game of the season, and am now spinning Iotunn's "Access All Worlds" for the umpteenth time since its release on Friday - Jón Aldará's vocals are reason enough to love the album, but the compositions are surprisingly great for a debut - I can safely call tonight a win. Cheers, all!

I think they probably thought it was "fancy," with the round bottle and such . . .

No joke, the last two LIFs I participated in were excellent and forced me to research, as in learning something new to me. I don’t know that I have the mental chops to follow those up, but I have great faith that you will come up with something completely different and just as fun.
    Cheers! And congrats!

Me too, I didn’t even know framboise was not a specific liquor.
And I second the thank you for the excellent LIF.

I mentioned that album the other day in the BA Metalhead thread (Off Topic sub-forum). Really impressive; I "spun" it three times in one night (YouTube doesn't really spin, I suppose).

Refresh my memory; you were in an earlier round of the NBS BIF, right? There's definitely room, assuming you'll be active in NBW and the H&H thread.
