Do we have a name for this Lucky #13?

 

Well, my target won't be getting a crowler of B4K. A local bar/bottleshop had it on tap and it was wiped out before I could get there.

Well, I'll let know Roguer I don't want to be your target anymore. If there's not a crowler of barleywine in the box, is it really worth sending?

 

If not, the NBS BIF, I've been in the Rookies BIF with him, and can vouch.

I was supportive of the move to widening the reach from Sunday only to the whole weekend because I felt it truly expanded the ability to have banter, as well as allow for more participation from a wider range of time zones. I think it has helped in these areas.

While a few people may have been put off by the spreading it out over 2 days, I think there was a bit more resistance to the reigning in the hosting tradition of the thread. It was stated that it should not have been narrowed down to designated BA's to due the weekly kickoff. But as far back as I remember (going back to Matt for me), that's the way it was. I loved that part of it and was not particularly interested in this new change. But, again letting anybody kick it off is more inclusive. So I decided I could live with that. But all in all, I think there is still a very congenial feel to the evolved post-NBS NBW.

 

The flip side of that coin is the thing that was the issue for me: I used to be able to start at the OP, and read every post, picking up on the theme, and how the thing is rolling, before I posted. Now? It's like WBAYDN, in that it's so far away from the OP by the time I get involved, that I say screw it, and just jump in. Like I do with WBAYDN.

Le shrug.

Given your gig, you don't keep a jug of ice tea during the summer? Sweet Tea, I'm borderline on, but straight Iced Tea, I drink a lot of during the warmish weather.
