It's been difficult to tell if progress was being made at Personal Best Brewing in Ithaca, but I just noticed they advertised a brewing position last December. If their posting is accurate, they're aiming to open in July. I'm really curious to see what they do with the space at the old City Health Club.

hadn't even heard of this place before, but apparently Glenbrook Brewery just opened in downtown Morristown, NJ. First brewery in Morristown.

Keep an eye out for Wayward Lane Brewing in Scoharie.

Place is gonna be on a 65-acre farm not too far from town and they have a coolship so that bodes very well for one of my favorite things -- drinking mixed-ferm beers outside in the middle of nowhere.

I think they had to change their original name and that's why they are not really on anyones radar. I think the original name had "Bones" in it?

I can't remember the full name either but you are right. I also think these are different owners.

Wild Bones Brewery (never opened/defunct?) appears to have had different principals.

mystery solved... just looked on google maps, that looks like a challenging spot for parking... but walkable to the green.. could get good foot traffic I suppose

Every place in Morristown is horrible for parking. This site is a short walk from the train station at least.

There's a pay lot behind the brewery and another one on Elm Street.

On weekends you can usually find street parking on Elm Street and sometimes on Pine Street and Dumont Place. But I agree that parking is tough in downtown Motown.

Ah, good info. I saw the same address and thought they changed names. Thanks.

Engine 14 slated to open in Naples (bottom of Canandaigua Lake) by "late spring or early summer."

There are a few wineries in Naples already so they'll be able to do great business off that traffic alone. Looks like it's gonna be a pretty cool spot too:

Apparently there's also a different placed named Naples Brewing Company slated to open (in Naples, it will surprise you to know) in the coming months. Canandaigua Lake cannot be stopped. It will not be stopped.

Official date of April 17 for Mixed Breed Brewing and based on IG posts I wouldn't be surprised to see an April opening for Wayward Lane too.

    Unsurprisingly, more Finger Lakes news!

Some winemaker is opening a winery and brewery in Lyons (a right off 90, north of Seneca Lake) and hoping to be open by mid-summer. Said on the brewery end he's gonna have a pilsner, a red ale and a raspberry kolsch to start. Flavored kolsch is usually a red flag for me, but the guy's wines are supposed to be pretty good so who knows.

Agness is the name of the winery portion, not sure if the brewery will be its own 'brand' a la Three Brothers Winery/War Horse Brewing.

Personal Best poured a concrete floor yesterday, which signals that they're on their way. It's good news for Ithaca, since we'll have three breweries represented along a .4 mile stretch on Green Street.

Copper Leaf Brewing is looking at late spring/early summer opening (from what I can tell) in Pittsford. Gonna be in the same area as Lock 32 and only a few miles down the road from Seven Story. That'll be a nice little circuit.

IDK how I'm literally just hearing of it now but a spot called Active Ingredient Brewing is opening in May in Malta where Wired Coffee used to be. It's like right next to Unified Beerworks too which'll be great.

I guess the place is being started by two pharmacists who have been doing homebrewing for a while and given other spots that have been opened by home-brewing scientists that's a damn good pedigree to have.
