has bcbcs or cherry rye hit se pennsylvania yet?

Haven't seen anything about Cherry Rye yet. Just coffee in some tweets and emails.

I've been calling some beer stores and no one knows an answer for when Cherry Rye will hit.
Does anyone know anything definite?

 

The Bottleshop in Philly had coffee as of saturday. 30 bucks a piece. They had no idea when or if Cherry was gonna hit.

 

Any word from those guys at The Beer Store as far as what will be on tap for the Goose Island tasting and which bottles they will be selling?

 

You might want to call them and see if they will reserve it. I've never dealt with them because they're on the other side of town, but they probably just got a couple of cases (if more than one) of BCBCS and the likelihood of it sitting on shelves long after being posted about on BA is slim. We've had some runs on several cases in just a few hours of less special stuff 'round these parts.

 

From their Facebook: "It will be available for sale during the Goose Island Sampling tomorrow from 5 - 7pm. Thanks for asking."

 

I was told they'll have BCBCS on tap and they're hoping to have bottles of Cherry Rye available.

 

Unfortunately my flight doesn't land til 6 tonight, so hopefully there is something left by the time I get there. Doubtful many bottles of any of the Bcs variants especially the Cherry Rye will be left if they actually get any in tonight.

 

Okay, the official word per their site is BCBS will be on tap and in bottle and they will also have Coffee in bottle but not Cherry Rye.

FYI, The Bottle Shop in Philly has cherry. $29.75 a bottle though. I just got off the phone with them after they posted on twitter to confirm. Said they had 12 bottles as of now.

 

Stopped by to pick up one. I was told one dude grabbed four and another guy took five. Nice.

Real cool of them. I didn't make it down there today, thought $30 was a bit high anyway.

 

There were a few bottles of bcbcs at the Greeks Next Door in Narberth as of yesterday if anyone is still looking. They're behind he counter so you gotta ask for them.

 

Anywhere else on the cherry? Passing through Philly tomorrow, even at $30 id like to give one a shot

 

Picked up 2 coffees this morning at the Trolley Stop Diner/Deli in Chestnut Hill/Mt. Airy. They still have 3 left @$22.

 

I went after I read this and they had 1 left. I bought it.
