Gearing up to go wrestle with a tree stump this afternoon. But that's then, and this is happening now and it's a heck of a thing.

I really like that beer a lot but it’s a tease. One can easily crush a 16oz of that before it warns with no problem lol.

 

8 mile run logged, 50 mile week, and time for some Dark Star to celebrate.

Yeah, I was ready to maybe pound them out at some point if it turned out to be fairly bad, but that won't be an issue. I did notice it runs a little higher at 6%+, and I thought it showed it a little. I think the 8oz format can easily lead to a cycle of, "Let me finish this off. Oh, and why not another small can..."

Have a good Saturday. Acceptable night. After I ranted on FB about some shitty earbuds I got at work, my friend stopped by and gave me some bluetooth wireless earbuds he couldn't use on his iphone. He just told me to throw him an extra 20 when I buy edibles next time. They have 6 hours battery life with another 30 in the charging dock. I forgot my wallet to work today. I sent @Shanex the box last minute, and it was $40 more expensive than the website says. Forgot my wallet going to work. Coworker let me borrow a $10 for food, and I had 2 Chicken/Swiss, Bacon angus, and Egg Muffin.



Awesome as usual. Still have a few left.

So how does this work? How often does a new "what are you drinking today" thread go up?

Duvel: I was sooo sad when our local liquor board dropped it from general list. I have a few in the cellar but it's just not the same! One of my favourite beers.

Drinking one of my namesake today. This is from the last batch they brewed I think maybe last spring. The time on has definitely smoothed it out. I have a lot from every batch going back to February of 2018, those ones are drinking very nicely now. I think they did a good job with this strong dark ale.
