So yesterday was a special 1 day pre sale $? I was thinking 18+ was pretty low for BA in 4pk. 2 years in barrels. But KRBC has always been below average when it comes to $.

$24 is still a good deal IMO.

Yeah, $18 was a mistake. We have tier pricing for all our beers but have never released a BA can before so there was a little confusion. We are honoring those purchases, but had to get it straightened out.

    Cheers

Cool. So Citra cans will ship out this Friday and should arrive on Saturday?

Yes, that is the plan. Can Thursday, pull off the canning line and put into shipping boxes, store in the walk-in overnight and handoff to GLS on Friday afternoon.

What a world we live in...

Complex Malts? Are you sure the kids these days can handle that....

Haha, maybe we should just throw in some nutterbutters and oreos and call it a day.

I ordered some Just Outstanding pint cans which was advertised as being packed on 3/4 but the cans I received were from 2/08 and 2/22 (2/22 had the date printed on the can). I'll drink month old JO any time I see it, but thought I was getting the super fresh Just Outstanding.

Thats not good. I havent checked my cans yet. Month old JO is not cool. I saw month old cans of JO at TWHB the other day. Passed on it figuring I can order fresher cans of JO along with Class X & V.

Sippin a class x now, definitely has a ton of bourbon barrel in it, almost a bit too much for my likes. It definitely has the classic prewpub class X carbonation level, which I think is great. Well worth the price of admission!

JO cans dated 2-22-21. I’m okay with that. But the ones packaged 3-4 would of been nicer. I’ll open one up later this afternoon after my shot.

well shit, I ordered some church cans a couple days ago, assuming they'd be the ones "coming 3/25". hope old ones don't show up earlier.

Mission accomplished. JnJ one n done. Road trip to Dodger stadium took 6hrs. Ready for 1st can. JO 22221 is tasting pretty damn outstanding-like. No complaints here. Carry on my wayward son. They’ll be peace when all is said & done.

This latest batch of Citra is tasting especially good. Noticing a more smoother feel to it.

Want to give a shout out for outstanding Kern River customer service. Partial order received yesterday, left voice msg letting them know the missing items. They phoned back on a Sunday, missing items will arrive mid week. Many thanks @KRBCEric for the delicious brews, many great experiences at the pub, and for outstanding customer service!

Missing items arrived today, plus an extra 4pk of Citra. Such outstanding customer service from the folks at KRBC! Wish I still lived closer to swing into the pub a few times a month like I did a decade ago. @KRBCEric keep doing what you've been doing! I couldn't be a happier customer and will make every effort to stop by when I'm in the area.

Well, I am always a little apprehensive about clicking on the KRBC thread for fear of bad news, but this is a nice surprise. Glad you were taken care of and thanks for your support!

Got my order yesterday. Another shout out to the customer service. @KRBCEric messaged me about the possibility of them sending an earlier batch of Chuuurch in my order and let me choose to wait for the one that was just canned. Very psyched to get it super fresh. Just finished a can of Class X and it was excellent.

Kern slays. They may be my favorite California brewery now. The last batch of Citra is amazing, and I believe that it was $15.99 a 4 pack. In a world of “designer” beers, Kern just reminds me of a company that does things right, and doesn’t get too far ahead of themselves. Please, just can Class V and sell it in 4 packs. And while you’re doing that, what do you think about making a Bohemian Pilsner? Give Kern all da moneys!!!!
