I'd guess Summer 2021 at this point

Ya + The Speedway has been hinting at a "few more months"

For brewed in Salem, which are distributed and how far West (Sturbridge, Springfield)?
    Thanks!

Some things definitely make their way to the 91 corridor, can't speak to west of that.

We are looking at a mid spring opening at this point, so a few months away. We'll have more frequent updates as we get closer. Thanks for checking in!

I have found Notch (Salem) 4 packs at Cooper’s Corner in Florence and Lighthouse Liquors in East Longmeadow. Salem Lager, Biersal, Cerné Pivo, and German Afternoons are what I’ve seen so far.

Biersal, too? East Longmeadow is very tempting now...

I'm selfishly hoping the Pitch-lined Pils bottles line up with the English bitter release as I'm due for another shipment

I got an email that subscription delivery for March was moved to next week (hint seemed to be the pitch lined pils!)

anyone tried that French pils???? really interested to hear thoughts on it, sounds like a really cool and interesting beer, not that I'll ever get to try it out here, but would love to read about it

I nearly bought it, but I already have too much beer and bought their Altbier and Tafelbier so I didn't get it.

I was a little hesitant due to the "cereal mash", not that I haven't had Notch beers that have utilized ingredients like that that I've enjoyed before.

Plus I know that the Bitter and Pitch-Line Pils are coming...one can only buy so much beer right?

That's my long way of saying I'm curious what it's like too!

Perhaps Biere D’Alsace was inspired by Meteor’s Pils:

“Meteor’s Pils, which actually has Czech roots and celebrated its 90th birthday in 2017, is emblematic of the way pale lager has long been brewed in Alsace. Made with the classic local hop, Strisselspalt, a mash bill that’s 20 percent corn, a single decoction step, and three weeks’ lagering, it is soft and round in the mouth with a bitterness that is uncommon for French pale lagers.

“It’s the queen of our beers,” says Haag. “We’ve had huge success with it.” And the corn? “The Germans say it is not pure [to use corn], but what is purity? How is barley more pure than maize? We use it because it makes the beer a little lighter.”

    Cheers!

    Or Fischer’s

Not sure either is particularly inspirational at this point, but different strokes.

Perhaps Notch can 'show them' how it really should be done!?!

Sorry for the dumb question but I wasn't 100% sure of things from looking at the website.

Do you *have* to put in an online order beforehand in order to pick up beer from the brewery? I'm going to potentially be in the area on Sunday for another purpose but would prefer not to buy ahead of time in case that falls through. If I could swing by on a whim and just pick up whatever they happened to have on hand that would be swell.

    Thanks!

Not sure if it’s preferred or not for them, but I can’t imagine it would be an issue. I ordered during a biergarten visit from my table during pandemic and it was ready very quickly. No real difference than ordering and waiting in your car.
