    Your hard, your always out unless someone’s shipping west and that would be Portland. Your always shipping East unless we have a BA in Russia which you can see from your porch or Japan.

    Looking through my target's hads on BA. Thus far, I see no reason to conclude my target would not like a can of Steel Reserve, and am purchasing accordingly.

    Kevin, this is the actual BIF - we just started. I had to close the sign-ups on Monday (Kestrel juuuuuust sneaked in at the gun :wink: ). You're obviously always welcome to join at any time; Derek and I took over for Terry, so I can definitely BM you next round (or if we do a mini- in-between round) to make sure you don't miss it. :slight_smile:

    While March Madness is not technically a theme of this BIF, it is that time of year. Unfortunately, we do not have an appropriate number of participants to run a straight-up bracket without play-in games or a losers' bracket (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64) - then again, neither does the NCAA! :wink:

    When I created the pairings, however, I did set aside four broad geographic areas that I tried to avoid pairing people within (as opposed to a hard ban on same- or adjacent-state pairings): Pacific Coast, New England, Great Lakes, and South East. Some states are not included in any of those four regions.

    So ....

    Hint #2: If I ignored the number of participants in each region, and just said F'-it, and had those four regions play off bracket-style, this target would not be one of the 8 participants of this BIF excluded from the bracket and forced to watch from the sidelines.

    Well.... dammit. Alright I'll look for a reminder for next round; but in the meantime, these hints are heating up and I might just have to drop some of my own whether I'm in this round or not.
