Haven’t seen it here in over two years unless Roger ordered very little and I missed it.

I like there no English teachers here cracking on guys for spelling and punctuation. That Philly sports forum was like that, it made it worse than it already was, and it was already in the shitter. At its peak there were hundreds of posters, by the time I left maybe 5-6 frequent posters, half of these were complete assholes and they drove off the rest.

My proof reading needs to be much better, and the auto correct is a pain too. Doesn’t help with this old I pad Air 3 I think, some of the characters sometimes don’t act right. About time to replace it.

Evidently we don’t get Nugget Nectar anymore, used to be here in bottle and cans. I bet Roger got burned on it and said no more, same with pumpkin beers, he’s backed off big time on them too.

I’m pretty sure I saw Nugget Nectar at the Whole Foods here in Greensboro not too long ago.

Ruthless Rye was added to BA in 2011, Flipside in 2013.

If you're a trader, try to find someone in NM to trade for Cumbre's Red Ryeot

This reminds me....did Bear Republic stop making Hop Rod Rye? BA has it listed as year round, but I haven't seen it in AGES, and their website doesn't list it.

    Loved that beer!

You may want to try New Belgium's Wild Ride. They describe it as anAmber IPA. I thought it was pretty tasty and it was really gorgeous in the glass.

And it is still out at my local Wegman's supermarket. A BIG pile in the middle of the floor for those that don't mind aged hoppy beers.

    Cheers!

That's a great beer. Surprised no one's mentioned Modern Times Blazing World, an awesome example of the style.

I just commented on Flipside in another thread. That beer was awesome. Remember having it on draft and being really impressed.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, I preferred it over the Extra Special Red.

I’ll bet you will soon - they’re expanding their distro footprint pretty aggressively. IJS.

One of the most widely-distributed and best Red IPAs would be Surly's Furious IPA. A classic red IPA that has flavors of pinecones, pine bitterness, and caramel spice. Probably leans more hoppy than other red IPAs.

    :astonished:

I read the message before reading the quote and thought, "Oh no, who is Roger, and how did he pass?"

Fortunately with context this takes a much lighter tone.
