    Had a Backwood Bastard on draught (not my thing) and then came home for another notch on my Beers of Fame belt. This is the real deal and I never would have known about if not for my fellow Advocates.

    LOL! I did the same thing last year - bought too many Christmas beers and got really sick of them long before finishing. This year, I bought ONE 6-pack of ONE Christmas beer. If I get sick of it again, then it's my problem, not the beer's. :wink:

    The heat is definitely dialed down a notch, so it's smoother. I'm also getting a little more dark fruit. On the down side, that nice bitter chocolate flavor it has fresh is also dialed down. I kind of miss that.

    Lunch, bottled 3 weeks ago. Excellent, I've really dug this beer the 4-5 times I've had a bottle. The cool thing? This came from Virginia where, unbeknownst to me, MBC started distributing recently. A guy that I was hanging out with at the ORF release the other day brought it down from VA with him. Keep coming south, Lunch! If this was on shelves in North Carolina, I would drink it frequently. Only problem is that it seems to fall off bad...like I said, had it 4-5 times now, and fortunately it's been fresh on almost all of those occasions. I did get one bottle as an extra that was garbage, but I noticed a bottling date on this one, which is new for MBC methinks? Don't recall bottling dates before.
