Really not too surprising since, once you reach Poo-Bah status, you're locked in while your karma seeks infinity. Most of the other karmic levels are only separated by 100 points, except Meyvn and Poo-Bah (500 karmic points). Reviews build karma and most of the people in BIFs are active reviewers.

See, this is the thing about me and mead.
I was in the SCA (SCA.org) for 3 decades (yes, I've always been a geek of of kind or another) and somewhere in somebody's research mead recipes were found and thus it was considered 'period'.
What??? An alcoholic beverage one can make in their own home with stuff you find at the grocery store? People begun making it. A *lot* of people. Some got good, some got very good at it, and some didn't. I poured more than one mug into a thirsty bush. My drinking horn still has the scent of honey in it. And some guy who at the time was royalty (King eh? Well, *I* didn't vote for him.) out of the California area that I clocked over the head in the first Pennsic Battle of 30 (and thus taking him prisoner) *still* owes me a bottle of mead from his commercial meadery.
All that to say, I'm a mead snob and there are not many out there that I like. Most are too sweet or too whatever. Simple and dry is the only stull I will drink anymore. May be my loss, but it was hard earned opinion. Oh, and that I refuse to actually pay for the stuff. That was the point. The whole point.

Well nuts, this rules me out.

 

Single malt is my non-beer go to, but I still finding myself buying bourbon periodically, including picking up a bottle of Elijah Craig 18 year last night.

I take one night off to brew some beer (avid home brewer) and I have like 5 pages to catch up

haul hint:
1) due to my targets dislike I had to remove a planned beer
2) I will not be sending any Milkshakes (sorry just can't)

1) I have checked in to restaurant in my targets state
2) My target will not be the furthest I have sent a BIF box

 

Since I don't have any dislikes listed - though the Chelandas are the item on my dislike list, I'd say I'm out.

 

Hint #2 - Though the box(s) will likely travel through another time zone on its way, my target is in my time zone.

 

And that excludes me, since I'm in the Central, and you're Eastern.
