What's the next big release?

    I got the chance to go to the KBS release this past weekend, and even though I didn't get any I still had a BLAST! It was my first time going to an event like that so I imagine it can only get better. I was wondering what the next big release like this is? Also when is the pliney the younger release? I'd like to plan a trip to Cali around the release.

    next big releases on my calendar are Westy and Parabola. Maybe there is a Parabola event you could go to.

    When is Parabola released from the brewery? Ohio from what I can tell gets 0 Firestone Walker, and I could make a trip to Cali to "see a few clients" and put it on the company expense account :wink:

    I'd like to go to the Jackie O's one definitely! I hear they have some unbelievable beer, but I have never had anything from them, when is their next release?

    Unless you plan a trip to sunny CA or to Philly 11 months from now, then good luck trying to get some. That may be one of the hardest beers to get at the current moment.

    Good luck trying though, I really mean it.

    Do you know how far in advance they announce the release date? Thank you for the luck though, from what I hear I'm going to need it.

    It's always sometime in February. Just keep your eyes peeled on BA, there will be a million threads about it

    I think it's a few weeks/a month in advance. I suggest you get on the Russian River email list and they send you emails with updated on their blog. If I remember right, they post the release date on the blog......not to mention is all of Beer Advocate buzzes around that time of year.

    I heard about this beer called "Darklord" being released at some big event. You may want to try that.

    Yeah, i tried to get tickets, but no go for dark lord day, and im not going to support these soulless scalpers charging 10-15 times the cost of the ticket. They should be shot.

    Yeah, and the trading forums on BeerAdvocate are specifically for finding, trading, and most importantly selling Dark Lord Day tickets.
