If I was Michigan , I would watch out for those pointed Canadian peninsulas standing on guard by @Coronaeus

Hint #4: My target's state has an equal or lesser number of syllables than my state.

How you measuring "big"? Your peninsula may be longer, but the Oly Pen certainly is girthier, and has spewing, volcanic activity.....

At the end of WW2, Ontario named several northern townships after Allied leaders. For example, there is a Truman township. Over time, one name proved to be rather unpopular as the former wartime ally became a Cold War enemy. In 1986, the name of this township was finally changed to honour a Canadian paralympian and ‘philanthropist,’ (mildly disgraced).

I will not be sending any boxes to a man or woman whose family name suggests a shared ethnicity with the former namesake of said township.

    Well then.....

The denizens near our peninsulas do this to sharks:

Ya wanna put your tip near that?

    I can't think of a Prairie stout I wouldn't JUMP at for $10/12oz.

Beside that one, Vanilla and Pirate Noir, pretty much any Bomb!, and my very favorite: Bible Belt. I do concede it's been a couple years since I've had one, but I have very fond recollections.

Speaking of consuming beers myself, here's I'm-not-playing-but-chaos-excites-me Haul Hint #1:

Tonight I am drinking a beer that will be in your box. I don't use Untappd anymore, but I'll tell ya'll about it:
    • I've checked this beer in on Untappd previously.
    • It is a locally produced collaboration with a popular brewery from another state.
    • It has multiple unique adjuncts and one familiar one.
    • It has aged gracefully for nearly 4 years, and would be is a style-want of my target.

This little exchange makes me wonder. Who in here truly loves wine/beer hybrids? In particular, who loved the big ones, like Impy stout and red wines?

I do, but I've been fortunate to have some really excellent ones. I'm also completely sympathetic to anyone without a good opinion of their potential as it's REALLY easy to make one that's either poorly balanced or simply infected.

From a science perspective, wine barrels are MUCH more likely than whiskey or other liquor barrels to have bacterium that will infect the beer, so you need a great combination of skill, care and luck to turn out a good product that doesn't disappoint sooner than later.
