Short's Brewing (2021)

I like the independent retailer thing, hope they do more. I know a couple years ago Chief Hopper and Publican Porter saw independent retailer releases.

 

While we wait until Double SP hits independent retailers, another limited release is hitting shelves (slightly late) with a new name:



Peachy Pom P-, er, Yum Yum will be Michigan only.

 

Quarter 2 beers have been updated, some changes since they posted it to the release schedule last month:



Nicie is coming to the Pull Barn and S-mart.

Ocho isn't on this schedule, but still on the website. I hope it's not canceled, I really was looking forward to it.

Blackberry Galaxy is new. 5.9% according to the portfolio description:
"Dank pine and citrus mixed with berry make up the aroma. Brewed with Galaxy El Dorado, Ekuanot (Equinox), and Palisade hops, Blackberry Galaxy IPA has hints of tropical fruit, pine, and citrus mixed with tart blackberry flavors. Medium bodied and well balanced, it finishes dry with a touch of bitterness."

If it's anything like Perrin's Blackberry IPA it'll be pretty decent.

• Pre-order window is from March 15th (Tomorrow) thru March 26th.
• We will close pre-orders if the pack sell out before March 26th. Better hurry up!!
• Packs delivered to stores the week of April 20th and you can pick them up when they arrive!"

I just tried to order one and the clerk looked at me like I was insane. Guess I'll try somewhere else tomorrow.

Oh man, this seriously made me laugh out loud.

 

Currently sipping on a Double Soft Parade, I definitely like this OG recipe more than the current one.

 

Livonia Liquor and Fine Wine had the Anni Pack pre-order poster on their door today, word must be getting around, so hopefully it won't be so awkward trying order one now.

 

That's good, because I tried again the next day and the guy stared at me like I was Narnia.

 

Anyone in metro Detroit seeing double soft parade start to show up yet?

Hello Short's Fans! Here's a few releases that have been announced in the past few days. First, two seasonals.

First up is PCG, which will be with us for March and April:


The "Without Delay IPA" hype was fun, but it's nice there's two months to enjoy for those who still suffer from FOMO.

Next is Soft Parade Shandy, which will be sticking around through summer until September.



Finally, a the next limited release to hit the shelves, Treefer Madness:

 

Treefer and Cat and both on point this year!

 

New beer on it's way to Michiganders. This guy is a holdover from last year, and now joins the The Ooze, Barney Blood, and Go Juice Milkshake IPA limited releases.




ALSO, anyone who ordered the Anni Party Packs should be able to pick them up at stores starting today. If you're so inclined, Joe Short will be doing a Facebook Live Anni toast Saturday at 5:30 pm.
