Ok, so it doesn’t take too long to get hopelessly - and I mean hopelessly - behind in this group, but I wanted to second this... I’ve also got a couple of well-aged bottles of Crown, mine from a favorite uncle who died years ago, and the bottles are/were from the 60s. I drank one awhile back and can confirm they’re very different. Much smoother, much like a very old wine that has mellowed considerably.

Was it better? I guess that’s an individual perception, but for me the value was more due to the provenance than the uniqueness of flavor. I still have the other bottle, maybe this is a sign! Otherwise I’ll just end up keeping it forever because an occasion will never come up.

 

I 20 was the give away, with golf courses. Only the Grand Strand there thru Hilton Head. Your out! Lol, I 20 goes into NC but golf courses aren’t a thang. Love Charleston the architecture is stunning, it’s N.O without the bums and crime.

 

I had the same question. There are "officially" 23 so apparently we have a few wild card players. Or Frank imbibed one more beer than he should have before that post...

Totally agree on that last part! They have so much in common. And now Chas has something like 30 breweries in the area!
