I tried Photosynthesizing Tongue back on March 31, 2019. The only notes I have is that I enjoyed single Alien Church over Photosynthesizing Tongue but I cannot explain why. I was not keeping good notes 2 years ago.

Anyone crack a coconut AC yet?

Drinking one now. Saw others saying that the coconut is subtle, but I’m getting plenty. Smooth, pungent, and one of the better Tired Hands beers I’ve had lately (in what I would consider a very strong past few months). Been a minute since I had regular AC so I won’t compare it directly to the base, but reminiscent isn’t of DDH AC iterations with plenty of coconut both in the flavor and on the back. And it doesn’t fall into the “suntan lotion” coconut trap that some stouts tend to when incorporating coconut.

Just cracked one myself - I’d be in the boat of “subtle” coconut in the aftertaste. But I agree this is a standout IPA from them. Also completely agree no suntan taste just a nice hint of coconut flavor. I don’t get that it’s still available and wasn’t a quick sellout. I usually split 4 packs with coworkers, glad I kept this one for myself

Very surprised this wasn't an instant sellout as well (it's still available?!). Maybe people are fatigued from the past few weeks of releases.

i thought the coconut came out more when it warmed up. the motueka adds a spicy finish. does make for an interesting drink.

Agreed. I got lots of coconut when it warmed. I’m not a coconut fan so safe to say this beer was not my favorite. I also cracked a DDH Death Tripper, now that was delicious.

@BullRuth, is the only way to order via this weeks NEPA Can Pop Up through FB? Wondering what will be available...

It's all done through dudleydirect.tiredhands.com - everything will go live tomorrow at 11am =)

For the most part, almost everything that is currently available at the Ferm will be available tomorrow (we'll likely have one or two cans that we are so light on - something like 1-2cs remaining total - that they will only be available for pickup).

And then later today we'll announce the new beers dropping tomorrow, which will also be available to order. Similarly, Thursday we'll announce the new beers dropping on Friday which will be available for the pop up, too.

There is no minimum for ordering and you can place as many orders as you'd like. So, for example, if tomorrow you want to order a four pack of DDH Death Tripper but then on Friday we drop something you're into, go ahead and order that as well!

Happy to answer any other questions.

I’m happy to report that Trendler Kölsch is ridiculously good.

I havent tried the Trendler Kölsch but did recently pick up the Trendler Pilsner. I found the pilsner to have a floral element to it. Did you have a similar experience with the Kölsch?

What's the date out of curiosity on the pilsner?
I'll say I usually find the pilsner has a lemongrass note in the past. Not farmhouse level but in the background.

A definite noble hop presence but I don’t know if I’d call it “floral”. I’ll have to try another one later today....for science of course.

Not certain. I drank the 4/pack and cans are off to the recycling center. Usually, I look at the dates and I do not recall it so most likely was canned in the last 4 weeks.

If you do, please post here or shoot me a PM. Not sure if I want to go buy multiple cans or just purchase 1 four pack.

Pineapple Punge. Things are getting wild in Ardmore. Good timing with the NEPA pop up.
