Happy Monday. Monday’s can be lame, but not today because we have a new barrel-aged release for ya.

Barrel-Aged Pressed Reserve is our imperial porter base, Pressed, as a blend of ten whiskey casks that were aged for an average length of thirteen months then aged on @tugboatcoffee coffee. Notes of medium roasted coffee, vanilla, chocolate, whiskey and subtle smoke.

Barrel-Aged Pressed will likely turn into a once a year release and we’re excited for it and happy to share our first version of it with you this weekend.

For this release we will be running a random draw through the @get.oznr app. The window to enter is now open and will close Wednesday at 5pm. Winners will also be selected Wednesday at 5pm. All other details can be found on the app.

Pickups, will begin this Saturday at 11am and you will have until 7pm Sunday, March 28th to pick it up. A limited amount of bottles of Barrel-Aged Pressed Reserve will be available for on-prem,Cheers!

I really love Pressed but $35/bottle is a bit rich for my blood. Right on the edge of what I'd be willing to consider.

 

It's getting up there but I haven't had a killer coffee stout for a while. Hoping this one is like a thick BCBCS from years back.

 

I'd normally say the same, but I've never gotten the chance to try a BA stout from P3, so I figure I should take the opportunity if I get it.

 

Even if you are lucky to score one, you still would not be trying a BA stout from P3.

Seriously! I thought it was a completely valid point to make, esp when people are hoping it’s as thick as BCS... lol

 

When regular Pressed is as thick as BCS, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to hope BA Pressed is as well. The notion that Pressed is way thicker than a traditional porter is well traveled ground here, as is the stout versus porter general argument.

So smarmy responses rehashing technicality arguments don’t advance any relevant contributions to the discussion.

But hey, if that’s what some of you are here for, go off! Myself I am just waiting for more @Quilentro surrealism and @HouseofWortship puns.

Not sure where I was arguing. I was just simply stating that he will not be drinking a BA Stout from P3 as the Pressed series is a porter. This is what sucks about the internets. You can't really tell the tone of the person.

 

Anyway, the drawing is today at 5. I hope everyone gets lucky on this St. Patty's day and scores a bottle.
