NBS BIF #13: Peninsular Envy 2 (The Rocket-Ball Inception)

Hint #1: I’m shipping west

Hint #2: I’ve never shipped to my target before

Hint #3: My target’s state touches one of those oft-discussed large bodies of water

Hint #4: Suprisingly, my target’s state’s flagship university has had some trouble with my state’s flagship school in football over the last couple decades.

Hint #5: My town’s population is larger than my target’s (which doesn’t happen often) but my target’s town has mine beat in elevation, though not by much.

 

I'm watching dome Redd Foxx comedy party videos tonight, so another clue:

Hint 17 - Your city/town has more square miles of water than where I live (Waite Park, MN), but less than where I have my packages delivered (St. Cloud, MN).

FYI - I have packages delivered to my friend's house, since I've had them stolen when delivered to my place. I really hope those who stole my package popped all the pills in the stolen box, because it was a colon cleanse,
That would have been epic to see.

USPS does keep packages for me at the Waite Park post office, but UPS/Fed Ex Doesn't.

Hint 14 - Your state quarter was released the year my nephew was born.
Hint 15 - I was planning on heading over to Historic Casanova Liquors in Hudson, to get you some New Glarus beers, assuming you've never been exposed to them. After stalking your profile, I discovered you've been exposed.
Hint 16 - My target, earlier, has indicated that he's not had a beer from South Dakota. That will change in this BIF, oh will it ever change.

I've never particularly been a sneakerhead. But I've had friends who were. This is stretching a bit, and I'm sure they'd roll their eyes, but this hint could refer to the heel of a pair of Jordans.

 

Hint #1: I'm reasonably certain my boxes won't cross a fjord.
Hint #2: I've both shipped to, and received from, my target's state. But she or he wasn't involved in those transactions.
Hint #3: Sadly, my target's closest Division 1 team isn't dancing this year.
Hint #4: If my target's town were located in my state, then it would be one of the largest in population.

Didn't say I couldn't figure it out, just that it meant nothing to me. It's either an obvious as a sledgehammer clue or a misdirect- one way it excludes me, the other way it eludes me.
