ok, time to increase hints.. Since I will most likely get a box of hop this week or early next.


target hint:
1) I have checked in to restaurant in my targets state
2) My target will not be the furthest I have sent a BIF box
3) The average difference of me vs target beers, added, brewers, and beer styles is larger the distance the box may travel.
4) my beloved Bruins have not won a cup in your state, but they do play team from your state
5) after college I drove cross country hitting 10 national parks, I did not drive thru your town, but did drive thru your state
6) I have not shipped to you in previous bifs
7) a new to me source /location for black gold
8) your town has ties to someone more famous than anyone from my town, or perhaps infamous would be better would

Random...I have no idea who that is (well, technically I guess now I know his name is Kyle Hill, but I don't know anything about him)

 

Perhaps one of my future hints as well.

 

Unlike my state, my target's state has produced at least one person who has been on a major party's presidential ticket.

 

Okay, a recapitulation of my hints before I go to work:

I have been to my target's state. I have had beer from my target's state. I have never had a beer in my targets state.

The porch I am targeting is in a city whose name reminds me of the cat I discovered my cousins had when my family moved to my Dad's hometown in 1979.

Recently, I posted a picture where I credited a former sender (@MacMalt) for having sent me the glassware l was using. Tonight I'm drinking a couple beers from another glass, received from another NBS BIF sender, this one from @ovaltine:

Hint #1 - Shipping mostly east. Mostly.
Hint #2 - I've visited my target's state.
Hint #3 - I've drank beer brewed in my target's state.
Hint #4 - I've drank beer brewed in my target's state while visiting that state.
Hint #5 - My target's state has at least one NHL team.
Hint #6 - I've drank beer from my target's state during 2021.
Hint #7 - I've shipped beer to and received beer from my target's state, but I've neither shipped beer to nor received beer from my target.
Hint #8 - While my target provided me a list of beer preferences, barleywine was missing from that list. Was this an oversight? Or does my target not like barleywine? This is a problem because I'd like to send this really lovely barrel-aged barleywine, but maybe I should keep it for myself instead...

Hint #9 - Drilling down a bit further into my target's beer check-ins, it doesn't appear they've had either of the two beers that are ranked #1 in the Czech pilsner and Euro Dark Lager categories. Since it's inevitable I send at least one of those to my targets, I suppose I can include the #1 ranked Czech pilsner as well...

 

Are you saying @WunderLlama was born in 1871, when my city was founded, or, like the founder of my city, has posthumously fallen into public disfavor for having gotten rid of his first wife by having her committed to a mental hospital?
