I don't recall you "A-HA!"-ing me, good sir, so I wonder if my hints are not quite clear enough.

I think half of your hints have eliminated me - it's like you have a vendetta against ovaltine!!!

The most recent elimination was your hint #13, which stated your target had at least one capital letter in their BA handle.

    OVALTINE DOESN'T DO CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!!!!!!!

It was probably the one where I blatantly lied that I'd never received beer from you!

Part of my dislike for Rush also comes from the Canadian content rules on Canadian radio. I forget the exact rules, but a certain amount of Canadian music must be played each hour. This means that on a classic rock radio station you are guaranteed a Rush song pretty much every 20 minutes. ‘Fly by Night,’ ‘Closer to the Heart,’ ‘Tom Sawyer,’ ‘Limelight.’ I know them all better than music I actually like as a result.

For this same reason I dislike The Tragically Hip, Bryan Adams, Tom Cochrane and The Guess Who.

@Roy_Hobbs , you might want to check my (first) post in WBAYDN 3074 for a haul hint. I would have posted this in NBW, but I had a sample of it at work on Thursday when the brewery delivered it. It needs more reviews.

I’d guess in 1978 you didn't wear ear muffs, and being 3 ft away from AC/DC would most definitely be hazardous to your health. I can’t imaging the ear assault and the 3-4 days of tinitius afterwards.

HINT #1 - at least one of my hints is a LIE!!!! It is up to you to decide If this hint is the truth or an actual lie itself

Hint #2 -My box could travel East but it will definitely travel West

Hint #3- my peninsula is bigger than anything you got , just saying..

Hint#4 Lady & Gentlemen - Your state has a team in the big dance, ladies and/or gentlemen.

Hint #5 - Wouldn’t we all like to be wasting away in Margaritaville? Jimmy Buffett knows (edit : about Latitudes), do you?

Hint #6- My target’s state abuts a large body of water

Hint #7 - I have played , coached or refereed soccer in your state. I have played soccer within 10 miles of your location, but, that was in college last millennium.

Hint#8- I am shipping north of the tropic of cancer

hint#9 - the name of this fictional character

Hint #10- you’ll need a good guide around these guys. Go to the the authoritarian guide for the answer.

    Hint #11 - longitude -form a triangle

Hint#12 - My town was settled much earlier than your town

Hint#13 - I will try to be less obtuse but will still give you a test. Working with my bud's Euclid and Pythagoreas will help. Imagine a right angle. The latitudinal line is from my location (south of Boston) to you. The longitudinal line is from a brewery in my hints & hauls to you. The hypotenuse is from my location to one of the aforementioned breweries. This is an open book test....and go!

Best idea of the whole BIF
Any place that reliably has stuff from Hill Farmstead is an automatic go-to.
An Armsby outing is definitely needed when things are back to normal. You are super lucky to live that close.
    Wait, that's actually a rule?

Well, I think I know who your target is, and it's not me. Looking forward to a post-mortem on your hints at some point, as there are still a couple that are confounding.

it is indeed. I looked it up again last night because I couldn’t remember the details.

    https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/cancon/r_cdn.htm

The number of bands that have had bigger careers than they otherwise would have had is large. April Wine were playing University cafeterias in the early 90s (I witnessed this). At that same time, I doubt a day went by when at least 2-3 of their songs weren’t played on every classic rock station in the country.

    int #1: I’m shipping west

Hint #2: I’ve never shipped to my target before

Hint #3: My target’s state touches one of those oft-discussed large bodies of water

Hint #4: Suprisingly, my target’s state’s flagship university has had some trouble with my state’s flagship school in football over the last couple decades.

Hint #5: My town’s population is larger than my target’s (which doesn’t happen often) but my target’s town has mine beat in elevation, though not by much

Hint #6: The last time I was in my target’s state was for a CART race - a British import (not Irish) won that day and his teammate set a then record for the fastest pole speed ever

Dammit. Ok @WunderLlama that’s it. I completely don’t understand 23% of your hints, but some others are EXTREMELY suspect plus the geometry works -

    ARE YOU MY SENDER???

Lol, Bernie with you in 1978?

Went to a Foghat concert probably 1977-78 we were right in front of the stage, the ringing in my ears lasted two days and everything I ate sounded like I was crunching on potato chips.

Especially AC/DC, you can hear them from the parking lot.

Saw a KISS show in 1990 where the levels were nothing short of punitive, pretty sure my ears were bleeding after that one
