Not that I'm knocking the stuff on this list, because I've only had a dozen of them and I recognize another few dozen I've wanted to try out since I've become more knowledgable about the hobby, but this thing feels like when a casual movie watcher asks a movie buff for a "lesser known" recommendation and they show them some super obscure black-and-white filmed in three takes in 1956 when they could have shown them, I dunno, Brick, because at least that one has Robin in it. I'm not saying "dumb it down" to the point of recommending Shock Tops and Leini's, but it could have used more Brooklyn Black Chocolates and Two Hearteds and whatnot.

    Not a bad list.

Credibility suffers from not featuring any Alpine offerings though.

26 tried (27 after I get my bottle of woody jack) but agree that most are obscure local beers that I never heard of and other ball breaking expensive sours and wild ales.

Also never trying PTE really makes me sad. Even this jagoff in the article got a taste...

Some are good, some are great. Some I have never heard of and some are just mediocre. Some are conspicuously missing. Lists are always subjective.

Right? How come two hearted isn't on this list? It's way better than that Green Flash West Coast IPA.

It did seem like he just went on BA and posted beers receiving an exceptional rating amongst some weird offerings "potato stout wtf?"...

Obviously a quite East Coast biased list.

Of course it's biased. It's a bunch of beer geeks from New York, some of whom are very familiar with European beer. They're going to pick what they know.

It's pretty hilarious that almost every Vanberg and DeWulf-imported beer made the list. Guess the V and D lady was a little partial to her own beers.

Or the Scheldebrouwerij Hop Ruiter, which she clearly picked only because her husband developed the recipe.

unpossible to get past the hipster ads and the stupid framed interface. it defies the concept of a list. having to tab through a bunch of shit frames is not a list.

Agreed. Super underrated beer. I loved it. In fact I rated it a 4.58. That says a lot I think.

Pleasantly surprised and stoked to see Cuvee des Jonquilles on that list!

I've said it before to you that I agree for sure, Italy is doing some super legit stuff. However, the pricepoints (which I don't really foresee changing) will hinder it from becoming more popular/available.

2 French (and only the traditional stuff made it) well, I stopped wasting time on it after 4 duponts in a row...that list got redundant quick.

Yeah, it looks like they included a lot of French breweries. Pretty cool.

Seriously, I'm about to give up on clicking. Tired of the format and girly beers. I am American. I drink American beer.
EDIT: Any list containing Pumking is a bust. I'm done. That beer blows. Don't put that on your list. Put River Horse Hipp-O-Lantern.

I stopped scrolling through at 35, how many were there? I saw 2: CdJ and Bavasienne...

I figure I've had 40 to 50 off the list. I actually like it. A lot of the American stuff was oddly local but it had a nice mix of interesting international stuff. The choice of Paffgen Koelsch gave it some cred in my books a long with a range of other choices.

Had 11... A lot of them are imports and 99% of the beer I own and drink are domestic.
