NBS BIF #13: Peninsular Envy 2 (The Rocket-Ball Inception)

Hint 1 - I've never shipped to my target before
Hint 2 - My box is leaving my time zone
Hint 3 - I don't seem to do this that often in BIFs, but I'm shipping west.
Hint 4 - The avocado capital of the world sounds fun, but my box isn't heading to that state.
Hint 5 - The state my box is traveling to has a state fossil.
Hint 6 - My target has both letters and numbers in his/her screen name.

 

Hint #1: I’m shipping west

Hint #2: I’ve never shipped to my target before

Hint #3: My target’s state touches one of those oft-discussed large bodies of water

Hint #4: Suprisingly, my target’s state’s flagship university has had some trouble with my state’s flagship school in football over the last couple decades.

Hint #5: My town’s population is larger than my target’s (which doesn’t happen often) but my target’s town has mine beat in elevation, though not by much

Hint #6: The last time I was in my target’s state was for a CART race - a British import (not Irish) won that day and his teammate set a then record for the fastest pole speed ever

Hint #7: Perhaps my target could divine another clue by thinking solfegically

Hint #8: An unrelated previous hint is actually a hint for my target

Hint #9: Dear target, to borrow a page from @swenny916, you may win in the eponymous BIF category, but when it comes to state fossils... mine’s bigger

 

Wow, 30 pages in 15 days!!! I might not be in the round but still want to have some fun, anyone into English ales?

 

I will try to help out a little with some hints.

I may or may not be a ghost participant.
I am sending at least one box to the US of A.
My question regarding bourbon, rye or lambic will have an effect on said box or boxes.

But, I ask you this: Do you have anything in common with my favourite Canadian Prime Minister? If so, I may be sending a box your way....

Hoping for some odd reason that your favorite Canadian Prime Minister was this chap from 1891 - 1892, but suspecting it's not.

 

Perhaps when he was alive. Most photos I’ve seen though show a close cropped do or a hatted head.

Not my favourite. I did go to college with one of his descendents though. I also could have gone to a college bearing his name. That connection would have been too easy though.

 

I may or may not have dropped haul hints in today’s WBAYDN thread. IJS.

 

Yup! I was also informed that they put out another cask box so I might try to my way back up there again before I pack and ship.

Hint 7 - I've been to 43 states, but my target's is not one of them. The closest chance I had was when I was a college intern for a Pioneer League baseball team.

 

Maybe that hint wasn't that helpful? Now learning that lots of states have a state fossil. BIFs are so educational!
