Just got to this one, Revengeful Barbarian DIPA 8.5%. Typical big juice, Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic. Also some of the that classic ASB bite on finish, noticeable since I have been drinking a lot of super smooth finishing Humble Seas. Good overall though.

Some great Alvarado beers this week.

Great new batch of NELSON, BABY. Big tropical, gooseberry and white wine grape. Some Diesel.

This one was pretty different, but they nailed what they were going for. Daiquiri Island SLUSH. Strawberry, Banana and Lime. Straight Jamba Juice.

    Finish with a crispy boi...

PALIO Italian-Style Pilsner. Crisp with some spice from the Noble Hops. Solid.

Feel like there's some of that sweetness trying to poke through that I disliked on the early/mid-2020 batch, but it's much closer to the batch from late-2020. Definitely not going to sit on mine and let that sweetness gain any more prominence.

Latest Nelson Baby is good, but not as good as last batch. And Juicy Sweeper is excellent.

A few more good ASB this week.

CNJ was solid as usual this batch.

Tayberry Cream SLUSH was interesting. Very decadent. Big Fruit.

I had missed the last several batches of Wave Jammer. Big Citrus up front in this batch. Also a lot of Grapefruit.

I believe their Monterey location is open for seating outdoors only? Take out too of course. Do they require reservations for outdoor?

No, they have some indoor seating available as well, and you don't need to get a reservation for outdoor seating.

Guys, I don't say this lightly. Triplets is insane.

Better than Nelson Baby, better than... just get it.

Latest batch of Delorean is too sweet. Meh. A bit soapy too.

New batch of HEMI is pretty good if you like that BIG Southern Hemisphere NELSON and Riwaka. Big Tropical and white wine up front. Of course some diesel (not Cummings Turbo Diesel though...).

Good N Fresh. Solid West Coast hybrid. Some slight haze and juice forward. But lighter with a slight diesel from the Riwaka.

Hmmm. Disagree here. This batch of DeLorean Dust lives up to expectations for me. I liked it.

Agree here. Surprised Triplets is still in the cooler. This one is a winner.

Was all ready to put in an order for some more CNJ with some others and noticed the only shipping option is UPS and it's like $28 for 4 4-packs. I hope this is just a glitch and GLS will be an option again soon.

I ordered at the end of April and it was GLS and the package was damaged. I wonder if that was happening more often so they switched? Shipping the same amount of cans to the same address went up like $9 for me with UPS.

Hopefully not. I can't reasonably justify that much for shipping though when other breweries are cheaper for full cases, let alone half cases. Plus all my GLS shipments have arrived in perfect condition, with the cans still being cold sometimes. I have a hard time believing UPS will be better at preventing damage.
