    And so it begins .....

@WunderLlama with the massive hit - this box is apparently packed with liquid mercury because it weighs a cubic ton. I’ll be back in a bit with pics of the bounty.

You are a f*cking rockstar, Maynard.

Yeah, you nailed the Spoade/Seager one as well as the Monty Python sprinklings.
I did direct a couple of clues straight at you, followed by a clue stating that those specific clues were for someone explicitly NOT my target (aka you), those being the ones referencing your avatar (Time/Big Lebowski/Mirror), and the Air Jordans clue. I've always heard Jordan Brand shoes referred to as J-Os. The heel of the shoe would be located at the rear.

I think your going full Pepe Silvia on the Measure of a Man/Land clue might have been my mischievous favourite moment of this BIF so far, though: it legit had nothing to do with you, though I absolutely love the solution you found. It was a Clay Aiken reference (Aiken is the name Mark's town). Measure of a Man was his debut album. Clay is dense soil, with a negative charge. So, the negative was about both the charge of the particles as well as suggesting to remove the clay from Clay Aiken. He came in second place on the second season of... American Idol? Whatever show it was he was on. The where leading it off was supposed to suggest that it refers to a location.

    A full rundown:

OK, so the first hint should be pretty self explanatory, and along with clue #2 was intended to specifically eliminate Terry.

Three and four and five were meant to be elimination clues for a different participant. I was going to go through and leave elimination clues for everyone, but just lost steam on that pretty quick. Whoops! This set referred to @Whyteboar. The first referring to the skull in his avatar (layers stripped away, movement referring to it being Da Vinci's body mechanics). The second was more about his username (pale=whyte, The Black Knight had a boar as his livery, and again a reference to the skull with no skin).

The sixth I explained above (clay Aiken)

I've had a handful of Westbrook brews, and one from Holy City. The wedding was in Eastern Tennessee, and we flew out of Greenville.

Number 9 refers to both BA and UT. I think you've traded more than I have.

Number ten is just zip code math.

    Then the @JayORear elimination clues

Kenai is an anagram of Aiken. It is also massive, and beautiful.

The Kyle Seager clue was another one that was kind of just coincidence: it happened to be the fifteenth clue and I was watching spring training highlights. Spoade being from SC was the goal of the clue, and the reference back to Kyle at the end was thinking that NC is adjacent to SC, so neighbours might know each other kind of thing, plus his brother...

The hint where I listed a bunch of numbers was referring to comment numbers. Each of the comments listed had some reference to Monty Python in them, and, well, your avatar. The Philly stuff was legitimately a happy coincidence.

And it looks like you figured out the Mark, my words one!

Someone has angered the Postal Gods... but it still ended up on my porch! From @BBThunderbolt 's LIF I'm guessing...

While the USPS didn't appreciate your packaging, Presto does. Aroma is mostly glue and plastic, with a rather explosive mouthfeel.

And the tasty beers inside for me:

    Boundary Bay Scotch Ale
    Boundary Bay Cool "S" Pilsner
    Boundary Bay Skipping Raindrops wcipa
Boundary Bay Tropical Dimension hazy ipa
Wander Brewing Pineapple Mango Millie sour
    Wander Global Mutt dessert porter
    Wander Range Life wcipa

Looking forward to trying all these, especially Wander's Global Mutt porter! Thanks, Terry!

The "stripped away layers" I thought might mean me (or Mark) using our real names as screen names . . .

Well, I can not say you did not get two senders, since I'm not the puppet master of this BIF!

I can say you are not my target, and since this can be a hint, my target is on the east coast.

Thanks! I'm excited to get back to normal-er life and to not worry about my contact with the public at work. One more shot in a month, two week wait, and that constant low level stress will finally be gone. California is opening up vaccinations to everyone in a couple weeks which is awesome and sooner than I expected.

I'm getting my first shot today too! One of the local tribes had an excess of shots, and somehow offered them to my work. 2nd shot is scheduled for 4 weeks out. Thank you Lummi Tribe!

    Jesus.

You were playing a different game than the one I was looking to solve. Disappointed I missed Kenai and Clay Aiken, but Ima need some mind-expanding elixirs to have spotted some of those others. This is like the NY Times Sunday puzzle when I’m still working on USA Today Wednesday.

    Great stuff!

Yeah, but did you get a 10% off your next grocery purchase coupon for getting vaccinated? I DID. lol. Congrats on getting your shot! Not gonna lie, years of F5ing for online beer sales served me well when signing up, but I think appointments are going to become much easier to get once we have the actual vaccine doses in hand here.

It's actually been a while since I recapped my hints, so here goes - with part 1 (of 3) of my decoder!

I made this in Paint from scratch. I'm quite proud of it. Yes, even Maury; I drew it pixel by pixel (OK, not really, but I did do all the rest!).

Perhaps that will help you sort through my clues. :grinning:

Hint #1: My box will likely travel South, but it will definitely travel North.
Hint #2: If I ignored the number of participants in each region, and just said F'-it, and had those four regions play off bracket-style, this target would not be one of the 8 participants of this BIF excluded from the bracket and forced to watch from the sidelines.
    Hint #3:

Hint #4: My target's state contains at least one peninsula. I can neither confirm nor deny whether or not my target's state contains a peninsula inside a lake, and if so, whether or not that lake is inside an island, and if so, whether or not that island is inside a lake, and if so ....
Hint #5: This target's state's population is just over three times the population of the state where the box originated.
    Hint #6:

Hint #7: I am shipping to a BA with zero or an even number of numbers in their BA username.
Hint #8: This target's state name is derived from, coincidentally enough, a peninsula. While the box is coming from a state that also has peninsulas (including a state park named after a peninsula), the name of the state itself means something else entirely, but is also related to a geographical feature.
    Hint #9:

Hint #10: My target has a lower number than I in more than one, but not all six, of the following categories: Beer Reviews (or ratings); Place Reviews; Trades; Posts; Likes Received; and Karma.
Hint #11: This target has less beer karma than this sender.
    Hint #12:

Hint #13: My target has one or more capital letters in his or her BA username.
Hint #14: This box's target is closer to a major coast than its sender.
    Hint #15:

Hint #16: My target's state borders an ocean, but my target is at least twice as far from that ocean as I am from my nearest ocean (which is, perhaps, the same ocean - or perhaps not).
Hint #17: The two-character state abbreviations (e.g. FL for Florida, GA for Georgia) of this target and sender pair share one letter in common.
    Hint #18:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7_bMdYfSws

Hint #19: My target has participated in multiple rounds of this BIF, yet has never been my official target until now - and, IIRC, never been a ninja box recipient from me (but I am fixing all of that this round!).
Hint #20: This target's state name has four syllables, but is shorter than this sender's state name.
    Hint #21:
