I get dose 2 of the Pfizer vaccine tomorrow. I just had a sore arm from dose 1, but everyone says dose 2 is worse. Hopefully I'll still be able to participate in NBW, but I'm happy that I'll be in the clear for the big share weekend.

Thanks to a couple of recent eliminations, my pool of potential senders has shrunk to exactly one - assuming no one has lied in key hints, anyway, which is a bold assumption with this group.

Therefore, I'm left with two scenarios:
    1) I've determined who my sender is.
    2) I'm yet another subject of the grand, diabolical conspiracy in which @Roguer has ensnared a growing pool of hapless victims with potential ghost senders, multi-layered sets of clues, and not-even-god-knows what other sorts of sorcery.

    @Ozzylizard - I'm calling you out.

I'm all good right up to here. California has FIVE syllables, and anyone who says otherwise needs to be gooder at words.

Same with Pennsylvania. But I’m kind of overwhelmed by @Roguer 's hints anyway; it will be a shock if I’m his target, but weirdly not surprising, given he’s embraced mendacity as a governing principle.

Okay, let’s break down this magnificent box from @WunderLlama. First up, some local treats and some coffee that can only be described as “mouthwatering” and the bag’s not even open, plus a world-class glass.

An instruction sheet was kindly provided so I’d know to enjoy the popcorn with the Mystery Beer.

    Speaking of which .....

That’s it on the left, next to Kettle Charge, Due North, and Regatta, a trifecta of IPA’s from Vitamin Sea (!!!), then Spring from Tree House (!!!!!)), a Jack’s Abby lager (BOOM!), a phenomenal milk stout from Second Wind Brewing, two more Hop Howitzers from Tree House (!!!!!!!!!!), and a pair of Trillium gems on the far right.

Here are the closeups of this gorgeous pack of beverages .....

...... and what the holy crap, let’s get this BIF party started with a live review of a couple of these beers. Up first, The Godfather of the hazies. Let’s get it on, Tree House.

Pop the top on the can - dank citrus aroma rush. As in, crazy gobs of candied oranges, and that exotic lychee aroma I dig so much. I’m getting some ruby red grapefruit as well - don’t know where that’s coming from, but it’s there.

The pour looks like a straight up glass of orange juice, with an off-white head that is oh so clingy to the glass.

The candied orange is really forward on the taste, and is accentuated by the lychee and a slightly creamy oat flavor. This is absolutely delicious. The mouthfeel is a bit softer, yet has a little bite. Really well executed, this beer is yet another example of Tree House’s prowess as a brewery. Rated 4.46.

On to #2, if you are wondering how ovaltine was able to transition these beers from “straight outta da box” to “let’s pound a couple o’ pints,” it’s simple: the Schell’s beer bucket!!!

Let’s do this one live as well.

Pours a dark cola color that sits underneath a bubbly tan head that dissipates like the fog on a warm summer morning.

    Quickly.

The nose has a toasted coconut aroma - and coffee. Like lots of coffee. So much coffee that I keep looking at the can and wondering how coffee can’t be one of the listed performers. But it’s not - maybe it’s the dark chocolate combined with the toasted coconut that’s throwing me.

But that doesn’t detract from the really nice nose and the exceptional taste of this beer, which features the roasted coconut and dark chocolate and introduces the vanilla beans. What a delicious treat this is.

But I am STILL looking for coffee. Rated 4.35.

You rock, @WunderLlama. Absolutely, totally rock.

The first box is on the way, and contains only beer, mostly local stuff. The following box(es) will contain the mystery beer, swag, food, and beer. Because of my location on the tundra of NW PA, "local" has a looser definition for me - any drive under eight hours is local.

Yes! I'd celebrate escaping the grand diabolical conspiracy, but I have no doubt it will somehow entangle me in the future.

I'm quite looking forward to the box's arrival, thanks!

Thought it was something like that. I code for a living and would have used something like: Case when x/3 mod 0 then...
But I’m not a mathematician, just a coder.
