Hint #5 - My target's zip code includes both even and odd numbers
Hint #6 - My box will travel through at least seven states on its journey
Hint #7 - My target has a non-zero number of peninsulas nearby
Hint #8 - The state to which I'm shipping has been home to MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL teams at some point in the last 50 years, but may not be home to all of those leagues currently

I've provided bountiful clues, in a format that is easy to follow, with no deception, and no one has even guessed me yet. I'm a wee bit sad.

All right, all right, too many things match and I have no idea if the things I don't understand exclude me, so @Mbgreg - are you my sender?

I'd like to guess you, too, but you've made it clear through numerous hints that it can't be me, the very least of which is that there are no Big Ten schools in your target's state.

 

Allow me to relieve a little of the stress of trying to guess your sender by giving a taste of the bounty that awaits in the next few weeks. @Dimidiata messaged me to tell me a few days ago that a box was forthcoming and to brace for a Monday hit. Then I checked the tracking last night and it said it was moved to Saturday. THEN, in a true shipping miracle, I heard my storm door open this morning and a sizable thud soon followed. I carefully opened the door to find that the box from Christine landed a day early! Here's the goods:

You certainly threw me off the track with the flagship school thing - I knew neither UofM or MI State played SC on a regular basis, if ever, but I forgot about bowl games.
And who knew Michigan has a Mastodon as a state fossil? Or that SC has a frikin' Mammoth!
And I still have no idea what #7 is about, or really even what the word means.

Yay! It's always exciting when shipping is faster than expected. I'd like to claim I planned the Moonage Daydream thing but I totally didn't lol!

That Blinding Sunset is single hopped with Nectaron, which seems to be the new hot hop out here now that Strata is so common, and it's a real interesting flavor. Cheers!
