What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3079

How I long for beer like this. Where I can drink a couple of proper pints and not be shit house. Brewers take note, not everything you do needs to be over 5%abv and not everything you do that’s under 5% abv has to be a wild, sour, or lambic. Low abv porters, pale ales, browns, milds, and all kinds of lagers under 5% is where it’s at. Can I can get an amen?

From 16oz can marked 02/26/21

Poured into my tulip glass this beer has a fully opaque pineapple juice colored body and a great billowing fluffy cream head. Foam drops quickly leaving fluffy sticky lace everywhere.

Scent is tropical fruit, pineapple juice, mango, tangerine, honeycrisp melon and cantaloupe. Touch of grapefruit. Spice

Taste is bursting with tropical flavors. Pineapple juice, mango, melon. Grapefruit in the back. Lime and tangerine. Gentle bitterness which builds slowly.

Mouth is soft and full. Juicy. Ends with a slight astringent bitterness.

This one really impressed me. The appearance, the scent and the flavor all were intense. Really want to try more by these guys.

 

Spring has arrived in New Jersey and I’m celebrating with a Kolsch at Bull n Bear Brewery. Cheers to the weekend, BAs!

Well router has tomato firmware on it and I can’t access the web ui. Sure it’s fixable maybe not by me but worth a try on another day.
