What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3080

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 3/11/21. Pours a very hazy orange yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.25

Aroma is peach, mango, ripe melon, pineapple, lemon, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.25

Taste follows lemon, peach, honeydew, mango, pineapple, apricot, and a little hint of grapefruit. 4.25

Mouthfeel is a solid medium, fairly soft gentle carbonation, not really dry or sticky, and at 6% ABV it drinks more like 7% but goes down really easy. 4.25

Overall this is another really tasty offering from one of NH best breweries. 4.25 Cheers all.

 

Good day BAs! Nondescript morning - no rain, no fog, no sun - just overcast and a mediocre temperature. At least I have a good New Breakfast Beer:



Decent modification of the excellent base beer White Rajah, although I must admit I like the base beer slightly better - rating 4.1, rDev -2.8%.

 

One more and I got stuff to do. Nice bold triple. See you all later.

 

This beer is great for breakfast!

 

Session stout! That's what I like to see.

6% ABV Mango beer
PA



I can see this being a staple at the Link or Fargo tbh. Fresh mango. Not great base beer. But that’s not what this is. It’s about the mango. It’s clean ripe fresh mango. A great fruit beer. Not great base beer but worth trying. Balanced. Not sweet. The base beer is a tad rough but dry so that adds to the mango.
I feel like they’ll release other fruit flavors with this.

I had terrible food poisoning yesterday after breakfast. Gas station breakfast burritos man. Felt nauseous all day. Much better now so beer time.

Good morning BAs! I’ve been sipping on a wonderful beer, courtesy of @beergoot all morning long, a collab between Crooked Stave/Evil Twin - “Maple Bourbon Stout”:



One of only 936 bottles. Aged 4 years, 8 months in Heaven Hills barrels that had Aged BLiS Maple Syrup.The best beer I’ve had in 2021! Notes, hopefully, to follow on NBW. Thanks Dave for this special beer!
