This is the most shocking thing in your post, wow! In my neck of the woods that would get swept up in heartbeat. That was a sleeper hit around here.

 

Agreed. I've gotten a chance to try several of the Anchorage 375 stout/bws via trade and Wendigo was sneaky hit for me as well.

I think partly why it's sitting is it might have an absurd price tag, unless I'm confusing it with another Anchorage bottle that made it to CA shelves.

 

At least 6 different anchorage bottles at a few stores locally.(not blessed) $40-70 for 12oz is the obvious deterrent.

 

Yeah the store I’m talking about charges 73 for a 375. And it’s not just that the store is upcharging. Anchorage/the distributor simply decided that it’s going to be absurdly priced.

Also, one thing I wanted to clarify from my post. A 400 bottle public recent release from Cantillon wouldn’t really be a “megawhale” in the realm of Cantillon. The true Cantillon “megawhales” are a lot more rare. A bottle of Aronia’s rarity, however, should trade high compared to other breweries since it is from Cantillon. I meant to edit this but fell asleep before I could haha.

 

Thanks. I’m in agreement with you on the merits of the trade. I don’t think a Cantillon with the details you provided should trade 1:1 with bottles that went out to distribution and are sitting on shelves.

 

I'm hunting Anabasis. Got no joy offering Daughters of the Light. Would I get more traction offering EHT Straight Rye? Blanton's? Do I just need to throw more in with the DoL?

 

EHT Rye + Blantons may close it. Bourbon so hot right now....

 

Eht straight rye and a small plus should do it and the Blanton’s is over but should insta close if you offered those 2 for anabasis.

Where is DB batch 1000 from Cellarmaker/Anchorage trading rn? Haven’t seen much movement and wondering where it’s at. Maybe on par with Monkish M9.1?

 

I don’t think this was ever answered, and I’m curious as well. Anyone have any thoughts on Maman 20 for Minutiae? I imagine Maman adds, but what kind of plus would be needed?

It's a scarcity issue with Minutiae at this point having hunted it. Agree it's not far off in value to maman but Minutiae is mainly moving for $ or as anchors in bigger trades. Still a lot of maman out there.

 

Here several months back I traded ORVW for KBBS ‘19 + Glass, is this still trading about be same?

Ran into a case of ORVW again this year and can only drink so much high proof liquor.
