I wasn't crazy about Face Forward. Too OJ forward for me.

I'm not familiar with that exact spot. Is parking there worse than their current location?

 

Almost same distance from my place to OG location. I’d say the parking would be easier compared to OG location. Just down the street from LeisureWorld and Unsung. Also the new Radiant isn’t far out. Anaheim is Craft Heaven. And of course you the the 2 Bruery’s l, Green Cheek1, BottleL, etc, etc. Yes Anaheim and OC beer drinkers welcome the Monks with open arms and empty glasses. Wonder if they’ll have food?

 

Yeah it's the Anaheim Packing District ... gets crazy busy during peak periods on weekends ... it's surrounded by residential neighborhoods which make parking a bitch. Compared to OG, weekends will definitely be tougher imo.

 

My daughter & her husband lives right across the street from the Packing District. So I got free and easy parking when I go.

 

So if we (BA/Pacific Forum) pull up and say we know GUNZ... Free parking for us to???

Parking will prove to be quite difficult at this new location. Additionally, the packing district gets so crowded - I doubt they'll opt for can sales there. It's going to be a shitshow, unless they can find an efficient way to do so.

Monks Torrance location is still easier for me to pick up cans during this current situation. Its only a 15 minute detour off the 405 from LAX to HB OC. But on my days off Monks A location will definitely be a stop.

 

So hyped!

 

Neither location helps me and now I want them to fail!

 

Geez. All I need now is for HPB and Homage to find digs along La Palma Ave.

Parking is absolutely brutal around the packing district. Other than that...really great spot with a lot to offer for food and bevys. Other than the parking...I'm a fan of the packing district and this will make it even more awesome. I do think they have (or at least had?) a valet option.

 

Regarding the valet ... It's usually pretty packed / sold-out when I've seen it. Hopefully a near by parking structure will do the trick ... or there is that free FRAN transit thing which I guess I'll look into.

Given the extreme parking challenges, not sure if can releases will be feasible in this location.
