That's a good call. I considered doing something like that during this round, but it was getting in the way of fitting more beer in the box.

I don't even know what to say about this. I'm still trying to catch my breath. Damn! Incredible stuff by @kemoarps and @smanson56!

 

I do the same, I put paper or wrap inside, wrap in bubble wrap, try to get it maybe central in the box. The key imo to any box is no movement of anything. Movement is your enemy, if nothing moves nothing will break unless they run it over with a truck.

 

The End Has Come!!! @smanson56 that is a stellar "LIF" box, and @kemoarps brought absolute destruction.

Haha . . . I'm going to make a trip to the P.O. this afternoon. There are a bunch of road closures in my neck of the woods right now that make it a bit of an adventure.

 

I've had problems shipping glass wear in the past and the solution I've come to is the glass never goes in the box with any beer unless it is wrapped and in its own box inside the big box.

 

I am way behind on hints box leaves tomorrow. The box will land in the around the east coast next week.

 

Yep. Get it right, get it tight. If there's room for things to move around in the box: well, it sounds like that box needs to cultivate more mass!

You're one to talk! I'm barely halfway through unpacking that first box, and THERE'S TWO MORE OF THEM LOOMING OVER MY FUTURE!

 

Weird that the first thing consumed from last night’s shelling is this Armistice Coffee graciously provided by @kemoarps , but I can confirm it’s delicious!

Of that can box, there's only 3 beers I've seen/had, and a bunch of breweries I've never had. White Bluffs? Never seen any of their stuff on this side of the state! Tri-Cities stuff seems to stay over there. Way to go @kemoarps !

That's over 30 new beers, from 15ish (+/- one, depending on how you count the collaborations...) breweries, most of which are entirely new to me as well!

I don't even know what to say, because this is overwhelming. Thank you doesn't begin to communicate it all, but it'll have to suffice. Thank you, sir, and once again congratulations to yourself and the missus and the little one too!!

 

Yeah, the roaster/coffee shop is on the corner at the end of our block. I like what they do. I'm glad you've got a grinder, because it dawned on me as I was walking home that that may not necessarily be the case, ha. They've got a big refurbished antique roaster set up by the corner windows and it's neat to see the owner at work while walking the dogs.

 

Got the first of my secret strike boxes going out today. The others will have to wait until next week when I finish crafting some special stuff.
