Last time @MacMalt assaulted my porch I literally had to go out a side door to get to the boxes as they were delivered in such a way as to prevent me from using the front door.
Sure, laugh if you like, but imagine the stress of seeing 3 big boxes you know have beer on your now very stressed porch, just inches away and you can’t touch them.

To my target, I sure hope you like hops, because it’s not Stout season here this time of year. Or most of the year at that. I could be at your house delivering the beer myself, if I left here at 8 I’d be there by 3 and we could pop a cold one.

Dear Lord @Roy_Hobbs I love the dichotomy of the cute little onesie and the ABSOLUTELY crushing behemoth mound o' beer. Speaking of onesies and behemoth mounds crushing...

I've always enjoyed the fact that the bottle that caused the damage that eventually resulted in the injury to the most sensitive of regions was named so aptly.

I love making sauce, the store bought stuff is thick overly sugary messes. I might get by with a Newman’s Own Marinara though, in a pinch. I like hand squeezing my tomatoes so they’re a bit chunky, I do add a can of hot rotelle, everything’s a bit Fra Diavalo here, garlic, oregano, a pinch of salt, a little sugar if needed, a bit of olive oil, tons or garlic and 1/2 cup dry Chianti. Thats it.

Cool thing is add some canned clams and frozen garlic butter mussels and you have linguini and clams/ muscles. Add some Serrano peppers here.

Now you're talking! That sounds awesome.

Newman's Own is my go-to. Pretty tasty, inexpensive, and all proceeds go to profit. But I've been hoping to make my own slow simmer marinara for a while now. I might just go back to your post for research when I make it. :grinning:

It’s better than Newman’s, I do it slow to let the spices meld, you can always add but you can’t take away. The San Marzanos are game changers, naturally sweet. The wine goes in 30 minutes till finish.

That sums up my area as well. All the breweries put out a stout or two in November/December and that’s about it.
