As a nightshift worker, days and things get a little wonky. This is the beginning of my Tuesday, though, so I figured starting the new day's thread made sense.
@FBarber buried me in midwestern deliciousness in the most recent NBW BIF (#13), and I highly suggest everyone visit the weekend thread, and join up in future BIFs if at all interested, as they are an absolute blast and a great way to try some stuff to which you might not otherwise have access.

This morning we decided that breakfast in the wee small hours was close enough to brunch to dip into this one from Odd Side. I've had both the base Hipster Brunch as well as the Rye Hipster Brunch, but this is my first visit with the Double Barrel Rye Hipster Brunch and it's real real tasty.
Thanks Frank for sending it my way!!

    Good day all,

Brooklyn Bel Air Sour, a rare purchase for me and yet I really dig it. Available on the shelves in the supermarket and has been for years.

Have a nice Tuesday and cheers!

Good day BAs! Thanks @kemoarps for starting today's thread. Of to another mild weather day, apparently, so also off to a mild New Breakfast Beer:

Very mild Impy IPA, mild aroma, mild flavor, mildly bitter, backed by 8% ABV. Rating 3.9, rDev +2.4%.

Good morning, BAs! I've got the day off, so I think I'll kick it off early with a breakfast beer.

The missus is working from home whereas I am currently enjoying the fine Chimay 2021. First time I get to try it, and feel no difference to its 2020 batch, unless @Beer-Panda know better and has noticed something.

Normally we have the new year batch in the shop around this time too. Last week it was still 2020 bottles. Probably depending on how much of last year is still on the shelve or in stock.
Somehow I always like to have the new year edition when I see it. Never noticed any difference in taste between years.
    Cheers!

Having some Leffe Tripel. One from a can and one from a bottle.
Quick comparison (and good excuse to have two triples within an hour) inspired by a short conversation I had with @Shanex, when he was having an American canned tripel recently.

Bottle and can are the same beer ofcourse, both rather fresh. Both taste great too. After the first sips I definitely preferred the bottle version. It has less carbonation and way more taste. Also there is that strange 'something missing' with the canned Leffe Tripel.

Label on the bottle says nothing about bottle-conditioning. But probably there is some. Just like with La Chouffe.

    Cheers all!

Included some more Leffe impression below.

As you can see the Leffe tripel sells rather quick here (both bottles and cans).
Leffe is everywhere. Sometimes there is Leffe cheese and Leffe bread (to bake at home) too.
You can even win a nice pan when you buy a case of Leffe
