    I can hear him now

“2 fort point, 1 Congress, 2 pot and kettle, 1 Trillium. I got this quick for ya”

“hey, hey, can you guys move back against the wall if you’ve ordered. No samples anymore folks sorry!”

he’d line those growlers up and never fuck a single one up in the order. I miss the quick marker label top

He did work at Deciduous for a little bit but is no longer in the beer industry. He's doing well as @LakesideBrewing said.

Also, since there is a designated “Phil Harmstead” I think Will earned the “Willium” title for putting up with all the lines and shit in the first few years of that hole in the wall we loved

I remember when they stopped giving samples at the 'bar' and thinking "Wow, these guys are crazy popular now"

Not to sound like a Trillium press release, but it's insane to think back at how small they were...owners pouring samples small, to moving into the old Reebok headquarters. Fucking Hockey stick growth in the beverage industry.

I really, really liked the original Trillium farmhouse saison and still don't understand why they stopped making it. But now that Oxbow Farmhouse is readily available in Boston I guess I wouldn't be as prone to buying it anyway.

Was interested what everyone thought about this. Someone made a statement that Trillium has been putting lactose in all of their beers (sans Lagers maybe), and they do not disclose it. Yet, for some reason for some beers (even a few IPAs Crown & Crate/Keytar) they go out of their way to say the beer includes lactose/milk sugar. Lactose in Streets beers? Lactose in Fort Point? Lactose in PM Dawn? Lactose in Daily Servings?

    What does everyone think?

I find it hard to believe.

A company the size of trillium wouldn’t due it out of liability reasons. The potential legal ramifications are are legitimate. There is likely a large number of lactose intolerant people that drink Trillium.

If Trillium is going to put the health of their clientele at risk. I would like to know why and what’s the benefit

Success tends to bring hate and conspiracy theories.

Their beer is damn fucking good. But the Nelson FPPA I had in no way has any of that milk sugar in it.

However, the conspiracy has some pure fermented adult shit added to it. Every time, double wet plopped.

This goes to my point of why would they meticulously call this out on the packaging and on their site in some beers, but just sneak it into others? Makes no f’ing sense at all...

Yeah, I feel in some cases it would be easy to try and hide it but there is definitely not any lactose in the Nelson FPPA, Dot Ave, or even Coconut PM Dawn I’ve had lately. To tell me that there is in fact lactose in these would throw my own trust in my ability to taste right out the window. I dropped the interaction on that and went on my way...

I’m gonna have to draw the line at only labeling some of their lactose containing beers as such, when they all in fact contain lactose. Drawing the line at this one...sorry KG.

Might want to provide some proof before you spread rumors like this.
Anonymous sources don't carry much weight. FYI

Yeah people saying this stuff without proof is stupid. That would be a huge risk to their business if they did that and I can't see the point of it

Considering that it is a legal requirement to put allergens on alcohol labels, I think the person knows nothing about alcohol labeling laws.
