And boom, some nice Pils and Lagers roll in from MI, care of Whyteboar (Craig). Mostly all new to me except the Founders Pils looking forward to tipping them back. Thank you and much appreciated, my wife’s already claimed the fudge. I’ll be traveling thru this weekend my moms suck and I’m into Pa until Sunday at least, so I may or may not hit the mystery beer. If I can I most certainly will.

Me too, plus I have a infected tooth and the antibiotics make me sick. Life is about fun right now.

Sorry to hear, that sucks, unlike your mom who is likely just sick.
But seriously, allergies alone are annoying enough, adding in infected tooth, well, that just sucks.

Did the glass make it okay? Wanted to know if the oatmeal container worked or not.

That beer looks great, but I can't stop thinking about pancakes with that blueberry syrup staring me down. Great hit, @Whyteboar!

Lol, I thought it was a box of oatmeal. But yes the glass is perfect, and I don’t have a glass in that style as well, so that’s new too. Cool glass right there, really works well with the beers you sent.

Nah, moms really sick, to be determined . But the antibiotics woke me up last night just sick as a dog. Take your pick heal the infection and walk around nauseous for a week or a root canal. Nice choices right there.

I finished off last night with a barleywine from River City (one of the approx. 8 or so breweries I can walk to within roughly 15 minutes. It's not a bad situation, that), as a toast to the Zags at the end of a great season. Probably why I had very weird dreams! I'm having to come to grips with the fact that alcohol later in the evening really disrupts my sleep.

Dental issues are the worst. I'd like to punch whoever decided years ago that dental issues are "cosmetic" and therefore require separate insurance from normal health insurance.

Until I spent about a month in the UK in 2001, I always assumed that the English tendency toward bad or pulled & unreplaced teeth was overstated. I learned otherwise that summer. I learned the cliche about English food, for the most part, held true as well.

Anyway, shoving off for work now, with box # two with me, to be mailed during my lunch break. Box # three is virtually complete, requiring only some cushioning packing material, and box # four is taking shape, and may necessitate some tough choices (I overbought).

Box 2 has been dropped off. Fed Ex saying a Monday delivery right now, which is hopefully pessimistic...

Glad I put the blind beer in the first box in case it missed the 11th.

My parents were British, and veggies of any kind get boiled, and meat is cooked til dried out. No spices allowed. Thankfully I got my mom's nice teeth, because my dad's teeth were the stereotypical horrible British teeth.

Opened up my box from @Pinz412 a few minutes ago, and :
A box of Tastykake chocolate cupcakes (plus a few that were used as packing material).
    A Trace Brewing sticker.
    A sweet East End goblet.
A 16.9oz bottle of Gregg, a blended Saison with Spelt, and half a mixed culture saison aged 6 months in an oak foeder, combined and aged in another foeder, and bottled in the summer of 2020, by Cinderlands Foederhouse. Sounds amazing.
2 - 22oz bottles of East End Gratitude Barleywine. They have different labels and wax, but the label doesn't what the difference is, if any. The bottle with the purple wax has blue bird on it, and the one with the green wax has a sparrow, or chickadee, or something on it. Pinz, can you clarify?
And a 12oz can Brew Gentlemen Electric Sheep Kolsch.

    Pic in a few.

@Ozzylizard Sorry for the delay in box 1. UPS (blew this one).. after numerous calls to UPS after they delivered it to a UPS store hours from your house .. and ask it to be sent to the correct address, only to find it on my doorstep this AM like a bad boomerang and my credit card charged for the rtn shipping.

box 1 re shipped via fedex for take 2.. and box 2 3 shipping this week.

what I hoped was a warm up early box, is no longer the case

Dental insurance is a crock, at best a root/ cap gonna cost you a G. I look at the pictures on my dentists wall, there’s boats, one has an airplane, even the best is inadequate.
