    This-is-a-lot-of-work-for-something-I'm-not-participating-in Hint #Too-lazy-to-figure-it-out:

    The sun'll come out....
    Bet your bottom dollar that....
    There'll be sun
    Just thinkin' about....
Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow
    'Til there's none

When I'm stuck a with day that's gray and lonely
I just stick out my chin and grin, and say, oh

    The sun'll come out....
So you gotta hang on 'til....
    Come what may

    ........
    I love ya....
    You're [ONLY] a day away

This is the point where I’d normally say, “I’ve been hit,” post the pics, credit the sender, have a few laughs, and move on with my day.

But we’re past that point, aren’t we? I mean, this is three boxes from two very different parts of the country, with world-class beer after world-class beer - and this doesn’t even take into account the ninja box @BBThunderbolt hit me with that I’m still working through.

I’m tapping out. No mas, @WunderLlama. There’s no more room at the inn. I got no more room for no more beer.

This box started after box #2 arrived, and had a glassware tragedy .....

Maynard immediately followed up with a beer mail message that a replacement was headed my way. I told him there was no need, his generosity was already overwhelming - and TBH, I got a glassware problem, i.e., Mrs O says I got too many beer glasses.

That was apparently a mistake on my part.

Because Maynard not only sent a wonderful glass, he also sent three magnificent Tree House juice bombs.

    Wow.

What a phenomenally generous beer nerd you are, Maynard.

At this point, I feel it may help to explain the difference between a Ghost and a Ninja.

A Ghost is a participant of the BIF in all ways except one: he or she is not announced to the group. The Ghost is assigned a target, but is not required to post hints, and is assigned a sender, who is asked to still drop hints to add to the overall confusion.

    Then, there's @jdell15 . Jake is a ninja.

This box showed up today without warning, and it's a banger. Two double-digit ABV BBA imperial stout bombers (OK, one's a Baltic Porter), Prairie Noir (one of the only of the series I haven't reviewed and a long-time want!), and a sample of cask strength chocolate bourbon.

Wait, what? Cask strength chocolate bourbon? Holy shit. I'll be lucky if my partner doesn't shiv me to take all of that. :grinning:

Thanks, Jake, but now I have to make more room in the fridge - partially thanks to other ninjas like @WunderLlama and @Rub_This_BBQ .

Gawd, this BIF is crazy sometimes. Cheers!

Open note to Ms.Roguer. You hold him down with the shiv to his throat and I’ll grab the cask strength chocolate bourbon . I’ll bring the glasses and meet you outside by the tree, ok?

I was in the middle of work when I got a text from my daughter that said "I think you have beer on the porch". In my world, that's like hitting the kill switch on whatever activity I'm in the middle of. Turns out I've been hit with a LIF box from @FBarber, and holy crap what a box it is. I was like a kid on Christmas opening this up....I knew that a) Frank is extremely generous, b) he knows what styles I love and c) he has access to breweries that excel at those styles. I had a #$^& eating grin on my face with every bottle I pulled out of the box. Let's check out the damage. (for the record, the beer was only in the sun for a moment)

    Keeping Together
The Art of Holding Space - Table Beer
Everything Glistened and Sparkled - Saison with roasted rhubarb, angelica root and honey
The Grace of Maybe - Saison with peaches, vanilla and lemongrass (beyond excited for this one)
We are Not the Counter Culture - Saison Brun
    [IMG]
    Off Color
Cognac Blackberry Fox in the Snow - Cognac barrel aged foedre fremented wild ale refermented with blackberries
Blackberry Fox in the Snow - Foedre aged wild ale refermented with blackberries
Pear Reine des Renards - Flemish blonde style ale fermented in a calvados foedre with pears, pear juice and native yeasts
Cygnet - Foedre aged wild ale with koji added
Cranberry Fox in the Snow - Foedre aged wild ale refermented with cranberries
Miscellanea (Vol 2 and Vol 3) - Foedre fermented wild ale

I don't even know where to begin. These look AMAZING. Frank, you should have kids more often so I can guess their height and weight more often if this is the end result. I haven't even finished all the beers you sent me last August yet!

Well, I got hit today by @woemad .
After repairing my friend's front step, in the rain, from the hit, I get it home and here it is.
First up, tons of stickers and coasters, as well as some honey. I think the honey is going with me on my fishing trip, because it looks like something that needs to be shared.
    Now to the beer.
All new breweries, except Fremont, for me. I am super excited to dig in. I did almost accidentally reveal the mystery beer a couple of times by not holding it from the bottom of the can. I might pop that open tonight, after dinner, which will be in a little bit here.

I'm in awe of your generosity here, Frederick. You are an animal, and I can't thank you enough. Don't worry about the post office, they can be slow at times. Besides, getting it today, and being done with work at 4, means I have a lot more time to enjoy.

Full disclosure: I have not had the Flight of Fancy, but YaYa and Project Craft both make some outstanding beers, so I took a chance on a collab beer from them.

Some nice juice there, and a lovely glass! Awesome!
@jdell15 is the man! I think I have a chocolate bourbon pint here from some Brooklyn distillery that was gifted to me years ago. I never paid any attention to it, but maybe I should. Can't wait to hear your, er, your better half's review!
I love when I'm scrolling the thread and see a haul that wows me, and then there's another picture below it! Great hit by @FBarber.
Some giant cans and some tiny cans, I love the variety! That Contemporary Fashion can sounds super interesting. Great job, @woemad!
